I performed the work myself. I originally purchased a PPE deep pan for my F150 10r80. This pan was so thick at the rear end of the transmission they was no way this would fit without major exhaust system modification. Very disheartening & frustrating when you truck is jacked up at 4 corners and the OEM Plastic pan is off. As a last resort, I purchased this B&M deep pan as a "Hope & Prayer" that it might work? It turns out it fit perfectly. I wish I had started here. It would have saved me a lot of stress & 3 days time. Great Job Engineering this Holley.

Great product. Definitely a bada$$ upgrade. It fit my 18 F-150 perfect. My transmission is running about 20° cooler now.

I installed this B&M transmission pan on my 2018 Ford F-150 after having a really bad experience with a much more expensive aluminum pan from PPE. The difference is night and day. The B&M pan actually fits the 2017–2018 trucks with the front-mounted transmission cooler the way it should. The solid cooler lines sit naturally with plenty of clearance — no rubbing against fins, no stress on the lines, and no sketchy contact points. The PPE pan I had was poorly designed in this area and the cooler lines were in constant contact with the cooling fins, which is unacceptable for something that expensive. B&M also wins on build quality and features. It comes with: Stainless bolts A real drain plug A temp sensor port Clean, flat sealing surfaces It went on easily and hasn’t leaked a drop. By contrast, my PPE pan arrived cracked near a bolt hole, leaked after installation, and the company refused to honor their “lifetime warranty” because it wasn’t bought from one of their preferred sellers. And here’s the kicker — the B&M pan costs less than PPE while fitting better and including all the same features. If you’re on the fence between B&M and PPE, don’t overthink it. B&M delivers a better product for less money and without the warranty games.
