I bought The Furnished Wall Mounted Post Box - Large Mail Box for my mum, it was bought to replace a very old mailbox that had served its time well, this Furnished Wall Mounted Post Box - Large Mail Box looks brilliant & once up on the wall it looks even better. I do feel this mailbox was an excellent buy at £24.99, sturdy build looks great & holds the mail as well as keeps the mail dry ( with the top cover over the mail slot closed ) all round 100%

My first purchase is to use it like an electrical cabinet to house some lithium cells for an outdoor lighting project. My second will be for something similar or has a letterbox. I would suspect the product not to be totally resistant to driving rain, an area needing special attention is the label window, this is not sealed in any way, but it is easily solved, I took a small rectangle of Perspex and glued it using soudal fix-all clear to form a totally water tight window, this window will double up has a power on indicator for my project. The box is made of some sort of Ferritic Stainless steel not Austenitic, but will still last for years I am sure. The great advantage is that it is far easier to drill and work with than Austenitic which are a nightmare to drill, and another big plus is it is magnetic, you could mount this using some good Neodymium magnets if you are fitting on to a steel surface. For my project I am fitting small zinc plated steel angles to my printed circuit boards, these will then be mounted inside using Neodymium magnets. My advice is that this is well made and superb value for the price, but unless totally undercover sort out the plastic window, even if its just a bead of Fix-all around it. Check for driving rain in your location, and maybe fit in a more sheltered position. This is my second purchase, but I will probably be buying a few more, they are just so adaptable and useful. Delighted with my purchases.

This was a good quality nice plain design however much to my disappointment I had to return it because I’d bought it especially for my Pharmacy to be able to leave my Medication safely, but one of the items would not go through the top there is inside a safety feature, which although a very good idea, could not be moved and so one of my Medications would not fit the space.I was really disappointed this was such a nice looking item and of a good sturdy material I would certainly recommend it for general letters/small packages.

Works OK but very disappointed with quality of unit going rusty already so so let's the view of home down

Lovely size and easy to fit

Purchased for a small bungalow and it is a good size that does not look out of placeTime will tell how long it lasts. It was easy to install using a small spirit level.

Like everything about it,perfect, sturdy, inexpensive just what was needed to complete our porch.

Received well packed. Easy to install, and once installed post is safe, has a secure flap so hands can't reach in and take out post. Would recommend, may not be very good in exposed position, even though made from steel. Please check if the size of the letter box will be correct for your post if you have large magazines posted to you. We have had ours in use for nearly a month, and suits our needs perfectly.
