Sharp and cuts well on thick toe nails

Bought this because my big toe nail grows inwards at an awkward angle. I have broken so many of those small nail clippers over the years. Decided to give these a go and boy what a difference. Because of the curve of the blade, I was Abel to get deep down into the nail and cut it off. The blade is very sharp so you need to be careful. Great tool!

Cuts easily and effectively. The handles are very comfortable and the spring action makes the item very easy to use. However, because of the curved blades, it will cut closer than your eye will be telling you. So always cut higher than you think the cut will happen. Also nail clippings might be launched as far as 1.5 m. To avoid this, cut after you have soaked your feet in soapy water, as this makes the nail material much less brittle and less 'jumpy.'

Perfect for the job in hand

If your toe nails are thicker than usual you will find this well worth its purchase price. Very sharp but easy to control, fits well in the hand. The sharpness means much less effort is required than conventional nail clippers but take care.

Great scissors for cutting toenails. My husbands old pair broke that he had had for years so I got him these and we was very happy. They come with a plastic cover to go over the sharp part. Easy to hold and use.

I haven't had so much chance to test these, but as soon as they arrived I took off my socks with the idea of testing them. The clippers are certainly well made, but sharp they are not! I'm not sure if I misunderstood something, or maybe this pair is faulty, but they were no better than my normal toenail clippers bought at a supermarket or Boots. To be honest, I was really disappointed. I had high hopes for clippers such as these which I thought would be much easier to cut my toenails properly (cleanly) rather than doing a half good job using my supermarket ones. It seems I was wrong. BTW, my nails aren't particularly thick so that shouldn't be an issue.
