It works (android auto)
My Google maps lagged as I used the usb cable to connect to android auto in my mg zs.I bought this hoping that it would help solve the issue. It's great being able to jump in the car without having to sit connecting my phone. It does so automatically.Very simple (minutes) to set up and go from the box, then the phone will connect automatically every time afterwards. The map lagging issue has improved dramatically using the wireless connection with this device.Lags occasionally, but this is most likely an issue with android auto/my car and not this device. I find unplugging and plugging in the product resets any issues.

Poor customer service
Worked well for a couple of times, but kept disconnecting or loosing sound, approached the product support to be told to try an update which I did now doesn't work at all. Packaging states they will replace without having to return which is a load of rubbish. Don't bother with a replacement just get a refund and try another make.

Eventually Fantastic
Pairing with my phone was a breeze. Connected my phone initially via Bluetooth then to WiFi and everything was ready in a snap, however things weren’t so smooth connecting again after the engine had been off. Taking a good bit longer than I would have liked to get into CarPlay but getting music to play was awkward to say the least.Once the CarPlay interface appeared, pressing play would cause the timer to start moving but radio would continue for a moment then silence and the timer stops. Any music app would either skip to the next song or go back to start of the same song and stop, either way you need to press play again and forget resuming from where you were previously listening.Apart from that rough start everything worked fine until the engine was stopped again and forget trying using Siri at the same time as the car radio. CarPlay would freeze and if left long enough would exit to the stock interface saying something along the lines of “please connect supported device” until I removed and connected the dongle again. Ironically it worked better at this point than if it had been left plugged in.I put up with it for a while until I had some free time to go rummaging in the settings, I updated the firmware, reset to factory default, paired my phone again, and now it works perfectly. Connects fast every time, plays music almost instantly after pressing play and cooperates with the car’s radio if so desired. The only true bad thing I can think of is the cable is a little short and inflexible. While the dongle isn’t huge it takes up a fair amount of space in my Vauxhall Grandland’s cubby thanks to the cable. I would have liked a non captive cable to work around such a problem but at this price I’ll put up with it.

Say goodbye to the wires!
If like me, you have a car with wired Android Auto or Carplay but get fed up with constantly having to unplug and reconnect every time you remove the key from the ignition then this is the device for you.Setting up was easy after I spent several minutes trying to change to Android Auto using the buttons on the top before realising these are for show only and there is a switch to do this on the side (should've worn my reading glasses!).Been using it for several weeks now and it never fails to connect in little more time than it takes to put the seat-belts on. Even connects when I put my coat with my phone in the pocket on the back seat or in the boot. I've never had had any drop out. Despite some claims, I've found no detectable latency or drop in audio or image quality compared to wired.Would recommend.

Stopped working after 3 uses
Spoiler Alert- it just stopped working and I’ve initiated a returnUp until then, it set up easy enough, the instructions were solely aimed at android users, but essentially, have your Bluetooth and WiFi turned on your iPhone and plug it in to the car.It pairs thru Bluetooth 1st and then hands over to WiFi.Seemingly worked ok, 0.5 second lag on skipping tracks and the maps (Waze in my instance) worked without any noticeable lag. After day 3, it just stopped working- and threw up a blank screen. I went over my settings just to be sure, but the device has seemingly died

No More Wires, Thank god
Got this wireless CarPlay adapter for my car, and it's a game-changer. No more cable mess – just plug in once, pair and forget about it.Using CarPlay wirelessly is a breeze – quick responses, smooth navigation, with no hiccups so far. It feels just like the wired setup but without the hassle. The adapter is small and sturdy, blending into the small storage compartment.Has a little button on the side to switch between android auto and carplay, kind of weird because in the picture it looks like there's two big buttons like a fob, but its actually controlled from the side. Not a deal breaker but thought id mention that.
