TEZO Mens Rain Jackets Waterproof with Hood Lightweight Hiking Coats

Can’t say enough about this jacket. I was in the market to find something quick for an upcoming Scotland trip from the United States and took a chance on this one and couldn’t have been happier. I can honestly say this jacket repels water better than any Under Armour jacket I’ve ever owned in the same category. The fit was really good although I do have long arms, but that wasn’t a big issue for me. I normally wear a large but went with a medium because I wanted it to be a little bit more of a snug fit, and it was absolutely perfect. Color was accurate as I went with the olive drab and zippers were fine, pockets are fine and the hood has enough rain guard to keep rain rolling away from your face. I wish the The inside pocket would have some Velcro or way to latch it close, but I’ve carried car keys and a wallet in there. My favorite pocket (yes I’m a nerd) is the one in the upper left breast that has its own zipper and rain shield. You can’t go wrong with this one if you’re looking for a great coat that is rainproof for any trip or just around the farm.

I just received the Tezo Rain Jacket (which is referred to as a ‘ski jacket’ on the tag) so I cannot comment about how it preforms in the rain (crucial, I know), however I can remark on other aspects. Rain shells (which is basically what this is) range widely in price, I’ve seen them for as little as $20, and some at Patagonia and the like for almost $500. Generally the more prestigious the brand, the more expensive the jacket. So, is the premium worth it, or am I just be paying for the logo? After all, pretty much every manufacturer’s garment is made in Asia. From what I can tell at this point, this shell is about 80-90% of those high-priced brands. Seams, sewing and finish work are very good; the material feels like the others (although this shell is a tad heavier than some); and it fits ‘as expected’ as they say (be aware that the body of the size medium jacket was a bit big -not fitted - which is not problem if you plan to layer). Downside? No drawstring hem; cheaper one direction zipper, no venting at the arm pits. Could you tell the difference between this shell and one from say Mountain Hardwear or Patagonia if you compared them side by side? Yup, you could. That said, the Tezo shell is less than half the price of the more prestigious brands, and perhaps just a tenth of the cost of the most chi-chi. And no, this is not ‘fast fashion’ in the sense that the shell’s useful life would seem to be similar to the others. Presuming other reviewers are right and the shell keeps out the rain and functions well, it represents an excellent value. As for folks being impressed with a logo, I could point out that there are very high end brands which many folks are unaware of (Cloudveil, Stio, etc.). So who knows, some folks may think you’re wearing one of those. ———- One last point: Tezo may make a fine product, but their English is less than perfect (although not as bad as some). You’d think they could hire a native English speaker for their tags, instructions, and website which would greatly enhance their credibility.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this jacket for the price paid. The weight is fairly heavy and it has the breathable inside liner. The hood is detachable by zipper. There are ample pockets and velcro adjustments to the sleeves. I used it recently on a trip to Alaska and it worked well. It is relatively warm without being to heavy.

This is a light rain jacket which works also as a windbreaker. I also have the name brand competition and they both work well even in a rain with blowing wind.

This is a nice coat for the price. Well made with a comfortable lining and good fit.

Very comfortable jacket. Not too heavy that you get uncomfortable but not too light that you're cold as well. Does well keeping the rain off. Very stylish for both casual wear and work. If you live in a rainy area I recommend you take the time to check this out.

The jacket is good quality . Has a good length as Im 6'2" and sits well below my waistline. The size does run a bit large but that is good so I can wear something underneath for warmth like an inner shell or sweatshirt. I like that the hood is removable and also the inside pocket for a phone/wallet etc. I have not tried it in the rain yet so I cannot comment on the waterproof aspect of this coat,
