It was smaller than i'd thought my fault not seeing into the measurements more but it seemed sturdy and the folding part was easy and sturdy enough

Growing up, my family would regularly hike into alpine lakes to camp and fish. When you have to carry everything for a week a couple miles on your back, weight and size are paramount. I love that this net is not only light, but it collapses down into an amazingly small size that can easily be strapped to the outside of your pack. I got one for myself and loved it. I made the mistake of letting my parents use it one time - the "lost" it. When I got them one of their own, they suddenly found mine and gave it back.

We have been needing to add a net to our fishing set up for so long but we didn't want to get a regular non folding net as we don't have a boat, so storage is limited. I jumped on this folding fish net and I'm glad I did. We have not had a chance to use this net, yet. I got it towards the end of fishing season in my area. But, the build quality seems to be there. It folds up pretty compact, easily fit in a backpack for hiking in to your favorite spot, leave it in the car for those quick get aways on the weekend or after work. Telescopic handle is pretty nice, you get the extra reach of a traditional net. The net material is interesting. I've only ever known fishing nets to be made of some fabric material. This net is made of a more rubberized material, maybe coated net material. Im not sure, but it has some grip to it. Feels strong.

This is a nice collapsible fishing net with a 12” deep and 12” wide basket, framed in a triangle that is 14” per side. The net floats when open or closed due to foam on the handle and on two sides of the net basket. The orange handle is very comfortable. Very compact when folded, and easy to store on my pontoon boat. I have a similar net with a larger basket and larger weave for the net which has served me well. I am a little concerned that the finer weave of this net may tangle fish or lures more, but there is only one way to find out: off to the lake to do some fishing!!!

Awesome net! Super compact for travel/packing. Easy to open up and extend. Solid but lightweight. Grippy net with a great shape for better netting. Highly recommend!
