Tasty. Not too many affordable plant based options on the market. If you buy this amount it ends up being like a half price from the store ones when you buy individually. So definitely recommend!

It’s vegan chocolate, and you probably don’t want vegan chocolate unless you are either a vegan or really allergic to dairy. My wife is terribly allergic to dairy as a result of alpha gal allergy, she loved the Hershey milk chocolate with almonds, so I ordered her these hoping she would like them. They are expensive, but if you are in a category of people who cannot enjoy chocolate, unless it is plant based anymore, it’s likely worth the price. These are the same size as regular Hershey’s with almonds bars, and my wife says that the texture and flavor an overall quality is comparable. It’s not quite the same, but it’s good enough. I haven’t tried them because I don’t have to eat dairy free chocolate, and these are hers.

These are my favorite non-dairy chocolate bars. I was buying the more expensive ones but these are really delicious.

Expensive but it's vegan and the taste is so close

After more than 30 years, this was my first taste of Hershey's again. I was expecting nostalgia, and to be pleasantly taken back by having a Hershey's bar again.For me, I was instantly disappointed when I opened it to see they no longer have full almonds in the bar, only to find tiny fragments of what I assume were almonds.I guess I got accustomed to smaller brand "vegan chocolate" over the years, where the chocolatey taste is normally intense even if it's not a "dark chocolate bar." For me, it was just overwhelmingly sugary with not a lot of chocolate to back it up. (I couldn't even eat more than half a bar with all the sugar)I did try the Reese's cups that are vegan, and in contrast I found them to be way more enjoyable. (Nostalgia was there, but way more salty than I remember/much saltier than Justin's brand or Unreal brand)So in short, if you like really sugary chocolate, you may like this. And don't expect there to be any full almonds in the bar and to have much nutty taste. (Maybe they have been doing that for years but I wouldn't know since I haven't purchased one in over 30 years). Part of the enjoyment was biting down on a full almond, taste and texture wise.The only positive I can say is it was fresh.
