I hoped for the duvet to be heavy but it wasn't. It is very light and quite thin, I was pleasantly surprised as the 16.5tog is very very warm (I am always freezing all year around and I require several layers during the night), I used to have an electric blanket 24h/7days and thanks to the duvet, I barely use the electric blanket, just a couple of hours during the day to warm my feet.The duvet feels soft and it isn't thick, but as it is inside of a cover, it doesn't matter too much. It is so light and easy to handle/maneuver which it's very important when changing the cover as I'm very weak.

Although this doesn't have an external high quality cotton jacket, it does have a very nice internal stuffing which is perfect in terms of light spring/summer weather ware. It's so very eventually distributed fibres in all the pockets, it makes for a very comfy duvet. I'd say you'd get a perfect 5 years of ware from it and when summers are hot you'd likely sleep with a good quality bottom sheet over you instead of a duvet anyway. Again i'd give it 5 out of 5 if it was perfect like some sheep wool divets with pure cotton jackets but this is not one of them so 4 out of 5 for something in a great budget range for this quality.

I bought this duvet bypassing the better known names, ie Silent Night, Fogarty etc. I was a bit dubious but because the price was excellent I thought it won't break the bank if I don't like it and have to replace it. Turns out this duvet is the best I have ever bought. It's really warm, keeps the heat in the bed thankfully because I feel the cold terribly but it's very light at the same time. Would very highly recommend. Delivery was great and the fact Royal Mail was used was a bonus for me 👌👌👌

I received this duvet and it was so thin I contacted the seller to ask if they had perhaps sent me the wrong duvet as there was nowhere on the duvet or packaging that I could see that stated the duvet was 16.5 tog. The seller just told me to shake it - as if I wouldn’t have done that anyway! I needed to use the duvet that night as my other one was soaked so I’ve had to keep it. It will be okay for a summer duvet but there is no way it will keep me warm in the winter so I will need to buy another. To me the duvet is no more than 10.5 tog but even then that’s probably being generous. Do not buy if you require a warm duvet. I had to use this with blankets to be warm.

Dislike the cover on the duvet very flimsy dont know how long it will last.Havent spent a whole night under it as I find it heavy on me.

This quilt was bought for my papa. It arrived on time and was correct. This quilt is sewn in squares so no chance of the stuffing going to one side. Very very pleased. So pleased I have ordered another one different tog and brilliant price.
