I use these gloves when I check in on my beehives, and I even got a pair for my husband, when he assists me with hive duty. These are well made and thick gloves, and I feel protected using these. I have never been stung through these gloves, fortunately. The materials that the gloves are manufactured from are of good quality. I definitely recommend these gloves for beekeeping!

I have a small commercial apiary, max is about 600 hives in a wet climate for 1/2 of the year. I like my gloves thin enough so I can feel my bees underneath my gloves so I don’t squash them. The goat skin is very soft and supple allowing for a great tactile sensation though the glove. I have bought many pairs of these gloves and usually wear out a 2 to 4 pairs a year. That is a downside to thin soft goat skin gloves, they wear out faster, they are not as durable as cow hide. A negative experience I have had is once in a while the seams of these gloves should not have passed quality control. Another issue is working in the rain. When the leather gets wet it stretches and thins, the bees can sting through the gloves. It is unavoidable at times here, sometimes you have to move or work the hives in the rain. I find them as a get value for the price because they have been the only glove I have found that function well with all of my needs and conditions.

I bought a pair 2 years ago and they have held up wonderful. Bees do not sting through them.. and trust me, they have been tested in that department. I'm an average sized 5'6" woman, got a small previously.. went with the x-small this time. The leather stretches out pretty good over time.

Very nice, soft leather & seem well made. Still a little big for an x-small, but manageable.

I bought a pair of these gloves 2 years ago and just bought another, only because the originals are full of propolis and ready to be used as spares. They fit my hands well, and aren't overly bulky. I've also never been stung through these gloves, so if you're looking for protection these are it. The only qualm I have with them is that the elastic on the arm has a tendency to give way over time with repeated wear.

First time keeper, great protection, good feeling but they are a bit warm.

I've used these for some time now and have had no stings get through. For one of my hives that's saying something. They weren't happy being inspected, but re-queening has fixed that.
