Good.
Made for real ice, snow and mud. Slippery on bare concrete so you have to be careful. Off road only! Other brands with steel wrapped around rubber are ok, but are hard on boots and ware out quickly.

Hefty and substantial
The cleats are as stated in the product information. The cleats are hefty and certainly digs in to the ice. It took a little time to get used to them on my shoes. My use is for safety on stairs around my home and in and out of the car. I bought both green and black in large. Would recommend.

Good
My old crampons were kind of small, so it was difficult to put over some big boots. So purchased a large size this time and it’s a lot easier to pull on and off.So far we’ve been enjoying pretty good weathers so haven’t had a chance to use them outside yet, but I think these will work good and I especially like the straps. After a real use: the straps that I initially liked were somehow cumbersome to handle. The path I take to walk is part icy and part clear. Worried about the teeth on crampons to get dull, I tried to take them off on concrete paths (also uncomfortable to walk on solid surfaces), and with gloved fingers, the straps weren’t easy to handle. The velcro ruined my wool gloves. I decided to keep the crampons on both dry n icy from now on.Also for flat soled shoes, forced to walk on balls of the feet rather than heels first since the heels that don’t get the crampons are significantly low that the gait becomes awkward.
