Great for moisurizing and removing build up in curly hair. I have thisck 3c coils and I love it. My daughters also uses it with her wavy hair. Smells great too.

My stylist told me about this. Omg it works great. I use it once week and my hair us so soft and shiny. Love it!

It’s a good clarifying shampoo but probably not for me personally. I have almost Afro like curls and after using 2 times each time, I still have a bit of stuff stuck to my scalp 😭. I believe if you have thin, or medium thickness this will work better! The smell is nice, product isn’t horrible tho! I just have to use a lot for medium reset.

Love this Maui Moisture Scalp Care Clarifying Shampoo! I have a curly perm and use this shampoo every other wash because my hair seems to be cleaner and my scalp certainly feels better. Having a curly perm you use several different products daily and build up is certainly a problem but not with, as I call it, Maui Wowee! Cuts right through getting my scalp clean, product out of my hair and leaves a very light tropical scent. Certainly a winner for me!

I switched from Nexxus to this brand to give my increasingly sensitive scalp a break. It felt sooo refreshing and almost minty cool. I'm waiting to see a dermatologist for what is likely alopecia. Meanwhile, this shampoo is a welcome relief! I'm ordering more.

This is the first time I’ve purchased this clarifying shampoo. I usually purchase one from Curlsmith but was looking for a more economical option. This is it! Just after the first use I noticed a difference in my scalp and curls - so it’s very effective. I had more definition and volume. This is definitely worth it’s value. And it made my hair smell amazing. Clarifying shampoos do tend to strip your curls and I did notice a little dryness but I always use a conditioning treatment afterwards. This helps keep my curls soft. Overall will buy again for sure!

This shampoo actually makes my scalp feel clean without stripping my hair out completely. It lathers up nice and gives that fresh “okay I needed this” feeling when my hair starts feeling a little weighed down. My hair feels lighter after using it and my scalp doesn’t feel itchy or gross afterward. It’s not anything fancy or life-changing, but it does its job really well if you have lots of build up I keep in rotation when my scalp needs a reset once every two weeks-ish. It depends on the amount of product I have used or how sweaty I get etc

Es la primera vez que utilizo un shampoo clarificante, tengo el pelo rizado 3A, un rizo delgado y muy delgado de algunas partes, lo uso cada 2 o 3 semanas, es la segunda aplicación que uso y lo enjugo máximo después de 1 minuto ya que al ser un shampoo de limpieza muy potente es muy fuerte y limpia todo el exceso de producto que esta acumulado, posteriormente utilizo abundante mascarilla hidratante y la dejo actuar 5 u 8 minutos y cierro con mi acondicionador [En cuanto al producto] El shampoo tiene un aroma muy rico como al que nos tienen acostumbrados todos los productos de Mauy, un aroma un poco rraro, desde que lo hueles notas que has algo potente pero aún asi refrescante, al usarlo sientes la frescura de inmediata, me a llamado la atención que si consistencia y textura definitivamente son diferentes a cualquier otro tipo de shampoo, altamente recomendado para llevar tu rutina de estilizado capilar al siguiente nivel 👌🏽✨️
