Excellent product for the price! But battery cover doesn't Brit 100%!
It does everything I wanted it to do, and everything the description said it would do! But the battery cover doesn't fit 100%. One of the notches that hold it in place hasn't been cleaned properly of its plastic moulding. So he cover keeps having the clicked back in to place. It's a minor issue but still relevant.

This remote operates exactly the same as the one supplied with the Sony DVD player. It is slightly larger but this I think makes it easier to use

it will swith on a sony tv
IT sort of works but not all sony products .It will switch on my tv but not a sony DVD player ,which is what I got it for .

No instructions
My Mum says this didn't come with instructions and needs tuning in, so for people without the Internet and without any instructions this remote is very hard to set up. Probably not worth the hassle and time buying it if you're unfamiliar with universal remotes as it'll probably take weeks to get it set up as it doesn't come with instructions.

Genuine replacement
Exact replacement for my Sony Blu-ray player. Old one had stopped working.
