I have been mashing potatoes with my Grandmother's old fashioned potato masher my whole life. While I treasure her potato masher for sentimental reasons, it can't hold a candle to this ricer. As I get older my hands are not as strong as they once were, so I thought this ricer might make Thanksgiving a bit easier for me. The difference is noticeable in every way. The ricer is super easy to use. You toss the boiled potatoes in and squeeze. That's it. The potatoes mash right through all the little holes with minimal effort and what comes out the other side are the smoothest, fluffiest, most delicious mashed potatoes I have ever had. My whole family noticed the difference. Clean up is super easy. I have been cooking for so long that I don't often find cool new things. This is definitely a cool new thing and I am SO happy I tried it.

I'm halfway between disappointed and happy about this one. There aren't multiple ricer plates like my last ricer, but at the same time, there's a reason I had to order a new one. The old plates BENT while trying to rice up some potatoes, while this one just can't because it's part of the lower canister design. It's super easy to use because you just put some boiled potato cubes in the bottom and squish 'em through the holes. It's like my old ricer with some good rubber, so it's fairly easy to use design-wise. Any ricer is going to be messy because, well, it's mashed potatoes, but not having exchangeable plates does make it easier to not make a mess.

I have used this multiple times now and it works great! I don’t have a dishwasher so not sure if it will go in there. But so far I have found it very durable and easy to use. Try not to over pact it or it does gets a little messy and hard to use.. or that might be just me. But I would easily recommend this

I use this for my cooked potatoes when I'm making mashed potatoes. Works exceptionally well and helps make my mashed potatoes very creamy.

i never knew that I needed to have a Potato Ricer until i watched a Youtube video of one. Not sure where the Ad came from but I am so happy with this Potato Ricer. It works like a charm. My only issue is with the process - for me - I bake my potatoes and scoop out the inside to push through the ricer and the potatoes are so hot! But the outcome is super creamy and worth it! I use this for special occasions. The Potato Ricer is strong, well made and I find it easy to clean. Just need to clean it as soon as you're done with it.
