Velaze Casserole Dishes, Dutch Oven for Home Baking, Non-Stick Cast Iron, Braiser, Cooking, 34cm/7.5L(Red)

Love this Dutch oven. I bought the 5 litre one in red. I have made bread in it several times as well as roasting whole large chickens in it with veg & potatoes on several occasions. I’ve not had a problem with sticking/burning but I’ve only used it for oven use. I highly recommend it if you like making easy bread at home- I am a novice and this Dutch oven has made it excellent. It’s also great for roasting fall off the bone chicken with all the veg for 2 hours - just leave it to cook in the oven and not having to tend to it. It is quite heavy but I think you need to expect that. Overall I love it so far.

Amazing pot. While its not the expensive stuff rhis does the job. Sausage and bacon casserole easily done in this pots and no worring about the lid disapearing. Yes its heavy yes its easy to clean and it fitas well in the oven and on my unit.

Superb quality and is so versatile, hob or oven and will last for years, super easy to clean.

This is not just large, but heavy, even when empty. I have used it several times now. As someone who is not very practical, it is just on the right side of manageable. It has been fairly easy to clean so far, although the inside of the lid is knobbly for some reason, which makes it a bit harder to clean. The handles feel very secure, which is just as well. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is that despite the weight of the lid, when doing a long cook, more liquid evaporated than expected. Because of the width of this, it takes up the whole oven space, I highly recommend good oven gloves (I bought new silicone ones, a wise choice).

Really good and big

The casserole dish is heavy and sturdy, with a solid enamel finish which looks great. It has been used several times on the hob and under the grill, and it still looks as good as new. It has only been hand washed and was easy to clean. I have not yet used it in the oven, but I see no reason why it would not work perfectly there too. I own a couple of more expensive brand cast iron casserole dishes, and so far this appears to be a very good alternative at a far lower price. Whilst I can't comment on it's long term durability, on performance and looks so far, I would highly recommend this product.

Love it. I have been using it for the past 2 months now, it is great. I ordered this as we needed a casserole to cook for 15 guests. Apparently, it takes a little bit longer than the common non-stick ones to heat up, but cooks faster than others. Cooks perfectly and extremely easy to clean. As it’s cast iron, it expected to be heavy, so be cautious that if it ever slips from your hand, your foot is not under where it’s falling 🙂

Une très belle finition un poids avoisinant les 4kg (3,7kg précisément) c'est du solide. La cuisson est parfaite pour un prix très avantageux. Pourquoi acheter bien plus cher ? Je recommande sans hésitation. Ma future grande cocote en fonte sera de cette marque.

Ich habe mir den Bräter zum backen von Topfbrot bestellt. In der heutigen Zeit muss man sehen wo man bleibt. Der Preis ist gerade noch annehmbar. Der Bräter wurde schnell geliefert. Natürlich hat er sein Gewicht, aber für meine Zwecke genau richtig. Das Brot wird darin super. Vorher ein wenig mit Öl einfetten und Mehl bestäuben, danach kommt das fertige Brot gut raus. Er strahlt eine enorme Hitze ab und braucht etwas bis er wieder abgekühlt ist. Ich würde ihn auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen
