Because of a HOT & humid summer weather in Austin, Texas in early 06/2024. The installation took me 2 afternoons about 2hr each day. I was sweat and eaten by mosquitoes. But it is all worthy after completed the installation. * 1st afternoon @ 530p..removed the original bumper reflector with this new bumper light and I have to drill a hole thru the bumper to make room for the notch bump with wires on back of light. It took me awhile to make sure the location was accurate. 2nd light installed was a much easier. I stopped here due to the darkest and too many mosquitoes buffet on me. * 2nd afternoon @ 530p..after removal the rear corner light housing (with the rear lift gate down of course). I have to drill hole just 1-inch of the bottom screw hole on the metal to run the bumper cable light thru the hole (must view from rear bottom up and I used the drain hole to run the wires thru the new drill hole position to rear corner light) Bumper light wires connection to the existing wire from the back of rear corner light bulbs.. =========================== Bumper light To-rear-corner light ==========. =============== Yellow Green ( signal bulb) Black Black/white (signal bulb) Green Green (brake bulb) Red Green/white (brake bulb) I really enjoying the new look after installed these bumper lights. I think it enhancing the safety view from behind as well as the turn signal. I would recommending this light kit and make sure u take your time for installation and will pay off. Good luck !!

Okay so I am going to give the rundown for everyone. To start these looked great! LOOKED is the key word. I’ve gone through two sets of these things and heres why. The first set I followed the instructions from the above commenter, he did everything right btw because they worked exactly as stated, for about three weeks. And then one day the right one went out and I figured it was a writing issue when I did them. And so I bought another pair because I really liked them. The second pair however was when I knew it wasn’t me it had something to do with the product. One morning I was having serious trouble with my headlights and blinkers and then everything went haywire. I figured it was a grounding issue or maybe a blown fuse so I went through with a multimeter and checked all fuses and the headlight and blinker wires. Meanwhile I saw that again the right blinker light was out, so I took out the tail light and the entire wire cover and wires were burnt to a crisp and melted pieces of the wire cover were everywhere and so that’s when I finally knew it was something to do with the product. So not sure what’s going on here but I would not recommend these because I have spent $80 on two sets and another $10 on T-taps to tap into the taillight wires.

This is the second set I’m on. The right one went out quickly. Other wise it fits my LX perfectly and looks great. They are not durable. It will probably give you two months before malfunctioning. I guess it was smart of me to not throw away the oem reflectors.

The mounting post is just a Philips head screw crudely melted onto the back of the housing. As soon as I started fighting it down, it popped loose. And as you can see, no prep was done to ensure this wouldn't happen. They just stuck a hot screw onto the plastic and called it a mounting post.

Nice look, but I am changing from 4 start to 1. This time the lights didn't last more than two months before it started acting up.
