This jar salsa is the only one I have tried that comes close to tasting authentic. Not a bad price for the convenience of a good tomatillo salsa.

Basically, sugar water
The consistency is just like water. The only flavor is medium heat which is accurate and overwhelming sweetness which spoils the heat taste. There are no other flavors and the heat could be from black pepper since it's just hot with no flavor. There is no citrus or any other flavor at all. From other reviews, I suspect they either are inconsistent in the manufacturing process or have changed the formula. This is the worst salsa verde I have ever had.
