tartemaracuja juicy blush

Cannot believe this is not as popular as other blushes. The pretty red, but also adjust based on your skin pH, and very pigmented. I didn’t wear make up, just this blush on my bare face and it lasted for 10 hours

I am in my early 50s and have studied the trending makeup looks for more "mature" women. Less is more, excellent skin care, and cream-based products are all recommended. I'm a fan of Tarte cosmetics anyway, so I was excited to try the Maracuja Juicy Cream Blush in Rose. Until now, I have always used a powder blush, applied with a brush. I have a medium skin tone, not fair but not super tan, with gold undertones. This also changes from summer to winter, as I tend to be much more tan in summer. This shade is a perfect medium pink that gives a flushed glow, not too light and not too deep, and I think it would work for just about any skin tone. The consistency is creamy soft, so I run my fingertip (as opposed to a brush) lightly across the top to get a small amount to start with. I dab the cream on one cheek at a time, tapping lightly until blended. This is definitely buildable coverage, so you can use a little on your cheeks, nose, and forehead for a sun-kissed effect or a little more on your cheeks for work or evening. I love that it feels light and gives my skin a fresh look. I definitely try to stay away from makeup that appears thick and caked on, which settles into fine lines. I work full time and pretty much wear makeup 7 days a week, and one compact lasts me about 5 months. For travel and on-the-go, the cream blush can double as lip color. If I had to name a con, it would be that the cream doesn't dry immediately, especially the more you build on your cheeks. But, that's also what gives your face a dewy appearance and younger looking glow. This has by far become my go-to cheek color product and the shade compliments my skin tone year-round.

The description does not make it clear cream or powder. However, I’ll try it. The color is gorgeous.

Lovely texture and color (honeysuckle). A tiny amount goes a long way, and it blends beautifully on bare skin or over primer/foundation. I'm not sure that it shifts color much, but it looks very natural.

Very pigmented but does burn so not right for me

Smooth, easy to apply, long-lasting, VERY bright, so a little goes a long way. It really gives that natural-looking, "I-was-just-running-around-outside" cheek flush. Recommended

Can’t remember the name but it’s the brownish purple one. Color is very nice. I love these maracuja blushes- have several shades. I wear moisturizer and oils and the blush has major color pay off and just glides right on my face. Highly recommend Tarte maracuja blushes!! I’m light skinned if that helps.
