After 2 months, my skin looks HEALTHY using this makeup!
I have read lots of mixed reviews about this product. I purchased it at a retail store where they could match the color to my face and where I could return it if I didn't like it, so I had the benefit of getting the color right the first time around. Yes, it is expensive, but I've been using it now for two months and this is what I've found:My skin type is combination oily and I have adult acne and huge pores. My acne is not horrible, but I tend to get acne on my chin and lots of blackheads on my nose. I'm 35. Previous to this I only used drug store cosmetics. I cycled through different brands because as soon as I found a foundation I liked, they would stop making it. I've used different products from Maybelline, Cover Girl, Almay and Neutrogena and have been wearing makeup daily for 20 years.I thought the makeup was expensive for the size of the tube when I bought it, but my opinion changed over time. I have used ONE tube for 60 days, which I know seems crazy. In the beginning I realized I was using too much. I felt like it wasn't covering well enough so I kept applying more. After a couple weeks I noticed that after I first apply it I have to wait a bit for it to oxidize on my skin to really see how much has been covered. Now I just smear it on because I know how much I need to cover up and that it'll look different after a few minutes of settling on my face. I apply it with a sponge (white disposable ones you get in a multi-pack) and that also helps stretch it because I use the sponge to cover over my face a couple times with the makeup soaked in after I hit the major trouble areas.I have needed to use progressingly LESS of the makeup as time has gone on. Why? My face is CLEARER and my skin tone is naturally more even. I attribute that to the makeup completely. I still get some acne on my chin, but that's my fault for constantly leaning on my chin at work, but I have noticeably less and no acne anywhere else ever. My skin seems less oily (probably because of the moisturizer in the makeup), more evenly toned (less dryness because of moisturizer) and also less oily. From what I understand your skin creates excess oil to help with the dryness, so it makes completely sense that if I was using a drying makeup before without a moisturizer that it would be causing acne!I'm getting ready to open up my second tube of it. I'm now fine with the cost seeing the positive impact on my skin and knowing that I can get at least 60 days out of a tube. I now only need a couple dime amounts because of how great my skin looks.

Settles into pores and looks very obviously like makeup
This ‘bye bye foundation’ settles into pores and creases and magnifies them despite what the product claims. I have only been wearing it for about 30 min, applied with a makeup brush to my face, and the product is already settling into my pores, laugh lines, etc. My husband says it looks like stage makeup. : / Haven’t tested how well it protects against sunburn yet. Feels very matte, not greasy at all— if anything a bit drying. Maybe it would look better worn with a primer or moisturizer underneath. I wore it by itself since it is advertised as an ‘all in one’ product.

Has pretty good coverage and a high spf
I’m on my 3rd tube. I use this daily because it has an spf of 50 and it has decent coverage (I like a high coverage foundation, so this would be perfect for those who prefer moderate coverage). I typically use a concealer after that to cover any spots this doesn’t and I have to use powder in any areas I don't want to look “dewy”. It’s very moisturizing and seems to wear well. Considering how picky I am about foundation, the fact that I’m on my 3rd tube speaks volumes!

How to make this "moisturizer-foundation" work twice as well and last twice as long....
I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon, but rarely take the time to write positive reviews. However, in this case, I thought my experience would be helpful to others who have ever purchased IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer and found it too thick and rich. When I first began using it over a year ago, I found that my wrinkles would fill with this creamy product during the day, which at age 64 was not a look I was after... so before applying it, I began to dilute it by blending it in the palm of my hand 50% with my moisturizer (a lovely Paula's Choice product) resulting in the loveliest texture and coverage I've had in many years. To set the moisturizer-foundation, I dusted my face lightly with my usual powder and it lasts all day. My skin looks great and it's easy to add extra coverage to areas that need it.A marvelous side benefit is that this pricey moisturizer-foundation has lasted me for a very long time. I stretch the product even more by snipping the end from my nearly-empty tube, folding over the end, and closing with a small binder clip. With a long cotton swab, nearly an additional month's use of product can be harvested. My skin looks great and it's easy to add extra coverage to areas that need it.
