Wizard Research Heated Eye Mask, The Original Electric Warm Compress for Dry Eyes, Moist Heat for Blepharitis, MGD and Styes

Very well made & comfortable to wear. It had a socket adaptor for use in UK. Haven't used it on my travels yet but all the parts fit into the case, including two covers to keep the eye mask clean, whilst in use. These are easy wash and more can be obtained from the manufacturer. Different temperature & duration setttings. Adjustable strap to keep in place whilst in use. Constant temperature whilst in use, adjustable to suit user, as is the timer. Altough more expensive than the ones heated in the microwave, I think it was definitely worth it.

Why have I given it 5 stars! It arrived in good time and well packaged, First Class Customer Service. I liked the box that it came in, very professional. It stores the mask very well. Cheaper eye masks dont always come with a storage box. I have several cheap masks and they cover almost half the face, heat not going where it should. I've read lots of reviews about the Wizard Research and decided to give it a go. I like the mask, its easy to use and it seems to be well designed and fits my eye sockets and lids well, this is where the heat should go. Comfortable adjustable head band. I did have a small technical issue and sent off an email to the company, the reply from Joe was very quick and the issue was also sorted very quicky thanks to Joe. the mask is very effective for dry eyes, it works very well for me. I've also tried it using a USB battery pack and it works a treat. The lower settings are good for just relaxing the eyes. I tried the lower settings first in order to get a feel of the heat levels and worked my way up until I found the most effectve and comfortable setting. All in all, an excellent eye mask.

This is a really good product. Heats up quickly. Setting 7 or 8 are good for me. Easy to use and the mask fits perfectly over the whole eye. Felt fairly quick relief from dry sore eyes. I bought cheaper versions and they don’t give the heat this mask does so for me worth paying a bit more. Highly recommend so far.

Some time back I had a Chalazion caused mainly by Blepharitis, this mask may have prevented the Chalazion and it's subsequent uncomfortable removal. I quite liked the relaxation imposed with the use of this heated eye mask, after all, not much can be done other than relax when an eye mask is worn. The Mask itself is made of a soft velvet material and comes with two Velcro fastened covers, it is held in place with an adjustable elastic headband. Worn too tight and I found it quite painful - I needed it fully open to be comfortable and that seems to be a maximum of a 24" circumference head. The applied heat is adjustable using the handset which also houses a very clear screen showing the time - again adjustable, and heat settings. All powered via USB. The heat can be uncomfortable, I found setting it at the fourth level sufficient, and to be pleasant, but anything above that was definitely too much for me. The instructions for use seem comprehensive and there are supposedly two methods to 'clear the wax' described. One included in the instructions, the other on a video accessible from the supplied URL but I could not find any such video on the given site? Overall, this is a nice product. I'm not altogether sure its worth the cost though. It really needs to be a bit larger for comfort although it covers the eyelids well enough. It is one sided, that is the cable should 'dangle' to the right side when in use. bringing the heated section in contact with the eyelids, the 'outside' is fairly well insulated against heat. This means the wired connection is on the inside and can be felt on the face. I think it should be on the outside. It heats up really quickly and maintains the heat until unplugged or the timer cuts out with it's nice little bleep. A very convenient and clear controller with good information ' to hand'. The supplied extra cover is good for a second person or laundry. I am going to go with four stars - it does what its supposed to, but it could be done better with a little more effort and surely cheaper? JC

Unfortunately, you cannot remove the eye mask cover to wash it, so I use anti bac wipes. Different temperature & duration setttings. I would definitely recommend, even though it's a bit pricey.

Superb piece of kit. Oozes quality and works exactly as it should. Even the box it comes in is top quality. Far outperforms the kind of eye warmer that heats in the microwave as the heat stays exactly at the level you set it for the length of time you require. You can even set it to give an audible indication when your preset time is up. Expensive, but worth every penny to me.
