Innovative and great helmet cap!
Very innovative and creative Watersports Helmet Cap, I never thought this could be possible but it is and I'm so happy becasue I don't like how I look with helmets, they don't fit me good and they don't look flattering on me.This is just what I need, it looks great on me like a regular cap, while it protects my head from falls and bumps.Good looking, great quality and the price, I'm very happy with my finding!!!

Not as comfortable, but looks great.
I used a bulky bike helmet when I ride my Onewheel electric skateboard, so I am looking to replace it with something lighter. I really like the style of this helmet. It looks like a large baseball cap instead of a bulky helmet. The helmet is very well-constructed with a thin protective layer ABS hard shell and a rubber liner cover in waterproof fabric. There's no ventilation holes on the helmet so it can get a little hot if riding in the heat of summer. Please be aware that this helmet is complied with a bump cap safety standard, BUT it is not approved for bike, skateboard, or scooter helmet safety. The rubber liner is a little uncomfortable on my head. I ride my Onewheel on a bike path so this helmet works for me.

Solid protection with a low-profile look
In my seemingly never-ending search for a bump helmet to use with my electric scooter I think I may have finally found one I can live with. I don’t particularly care for the way bike helmets look or fit and while this may not be MIPS certified, it still offers good protection in my testing consisting of deliberately clipping the corners of walls while walking along with some tree branch impacts while out hiking.Silly testing methods aside, I’m getting good protection with a very low profile look. It’s basically a baseball cap and if not for the chin strap and reflective strips sewn all around the hat nobody would notice the difference which is pretty much what I wanted. As an added bonus, the baseball cap style visor blocks the sun much better than my bike helmet’s tiny visor does and visibility is still very good. The cap is also nicely constructed with no gaps where the exterior fabric meets the interior protective shell and I also find it much more comfortable to wear than my bike helmet although it doesn’t have the venting bike helmets do, so that’s something to keep in mind in hotter weather.Whether it be for kayaking, bike or scooter use, really any activity where you want some additional protection without the bulk and look of traditional protective helmets it seems like a solid general purpose bump cap. I’m not an expert on watersport helmets and would suggest you make sure you’re comfortable with the risk level for whatever purpose you’re using it for. For me, I'm comfortable using it as a helmet with my e-scooter and it's worked out nicely so far.

Protects your noggin, comfortable
No complaints - it's lightweight but sturdy, comfortable to wear, and not only protects your head from impacts but protects your skin from the sun with the included neck and face covers.Connecting those parts to the cap is a little challenging - the instructions weren't very clear, and in the process you have to detach part of the outer cover from the support structure and I honestly thought I was ripping something. It's a little fiddly, and it would have been nice to have clearer instructions or a place for the detached part of the outer cover to be secured or some different geometry in the outer cover like a defined flap that opens for the neck cover - as-is it feels a little cloogy and a bit of an afterthought.Once it's connected, though, everything stays put and covers your neck - except for a half-circle where the adjustment strap on the cap leaves a hole, so if you're bald or have thinning hair, you're going to need to do something about that spot.I haven't tried the face cover yet other than to see how in connects - it's a series of snaps along the sides that connect it to the neck piece. You can't use the face cover without the neck cover also attached, though it's hard to imagine a situation where you'd want to in the first place.Haven't had a chance to really abuse it as much as I think I will, but if anything changes my opinion I'll update this review.

Good Bump Protection Without Looking Like I'm Wearing A Hard Hat. Could Use More Ventillation
This bump cap does what it's supposed to do--protects from light bumps to the head and prevents cuts and bruises.I like that it lets me work on projects in my yard and garage with an appropriate level of protection and without wearing a full-blown construction site hard hat.I do find the shell to be a little bit stiff--hopefully it will form to my head over time and get more comfortable.I also find that I'd like a little more ventilation. But I understand that it is designed for water sports and not yard work, so it may be a matter of the design being appropriate to the intended activity. In any case, it does its job and gives me a low public profile. And it seems to be good quality, although I'm not intending to put it to hard use, so I expect it will last a long time.
