This is a high quality neon light with rgb ic led chips in it. I have several of these and this one defiantly has the beefiest outer casing of the bunch so I'm sure it will be very durable. The color options though are not as good as my other ones. I used only the remote and the choices on it were very lacking. It behaved a lot more like a regular rgb light with limited gradient options that were choppy and not blended together. The motion options were also lacking. Maybe the app has better mode options but I don't want to install yet another app on my phone so I wanted to use it independently. It still looks good just not as exciting as I want.

The media could not be loaded.  I have just been playing with this is it coiled up and it is so fun! Has so many different light functions, it will take me a while to figure them all out. You can power it by the power button attached to the cord or the remote control. It also works with Alexa and google home but those are features that I use. It comes with metal clips for installing. I'm excited to get this up in my music room and have some fun!Update November 23, 2023: This rope light is super fun!! Learning all it does... chasing lights, rhythmic following... I don't even have all the words to describe but we are loving this light! One important feature to me is the light chasing feature... All the different colors chase each other. It is super interesting. My other RGB rope lights I bought after this do not have the chasing feature, which is disappointing!
