I’ve heard bearing balls work really well as weights for pie baking would these rust if i used for this purpose

I have no idea what is in the head of the guy that said 'if you live near the coast with salt in the air...recommend finding a more rust resistant steel.." STAINLESS STEEL IS RUST RESISTANT STEEL, that's one of the reasons it was invented. It will work fine. and no.. its not gonna 'rust'... you might 'tarnish it' a bit, but, the color change of the ball bearings wont hurt a thing.

Are these a shiny chrome like the picture shows? How much does one weigh? Thanks.

3.55 grams or 54.8 grain. Yes very shiny and smooth.

Can anyone confirm that they are truly. 375.
