Bristan BL395 B 9.5 kW Bliss 3 Electric Shower - Black/chrome

Never bought a Bristan before always stuck to the Triton brands, but after many years of them failing just out of warranty, the current one still in warranty they blamed on water pressure and advised an £80 call out charge if it was... so decided to rip it of the wall and try another make. Straight away just looking at the internal PCB you can see that better quality components have been used, the relays in the Triton are from the 1960's. the unit was easy to fit with numerous power and water inlet positions. only problem i had is that my unit must have been dropped as my front panel the spring loaded touch elements had all moved, but simply pushing them back in place resolved the issue. with the Tritons we always had problems with water pressure cutting them out (same 9.5kw units) this problem seems to have gone away with this shower which in its self is a gods send!! It has replaced a £300 Triton shower and far exceeds it in quality and looks, lets hope it lasts longer too.

This shower unit is the best I have come across in years. It gives a great shower by nice hot water and power. I can spend hours standing under it. It also looks great and easy to use. Set it up once and then the same every shower. I love it

Reasonably easy to install, but not as simple as some. Rear installation requires a very exact length of pipe there is no flexibility (other entry points are more flexible). Purchased to replace a 6 yr old Triton and do far not disappointed. We have below average water pressure, but the Bristan does a good job. The shower pressure seems better than most. Like the easy light control system. Purchased the 'Bliss' which is the latest model for 2021. Was a little worried by some reviews on Bristan but research on the internet showed they have sorted all the issues and is now a highly recommended unit. It's been installed for about a month and it's probably the best shower we have had. Like the anti-lime scale function and the simple but good looking 3 function head. I have always purchased Triton showers in the past but the Bristan Bliss is better so far.

Nice looking, I like that you can set the precise temperature. One thing I do not like is the push fit fitting supplied. I can see it could be an advantage to someone fitting this who is not a diy person. But ( as in my situation) as my copper pipe comes out of the wall there’s a bit of guess work in knowing that the push fit fitting is fully home. I’m surprised there is no flexi pipe connection yet amongst all shower manufacturers. After 2 weeks of use it blew a fuse. I don’t think it was because of this shower as the fuse wire looked under amperage. Yet seems strange that my old shower worked for years on the same fuse?????

There was a slight fault with my shower, I contacted the after sale service through Amazon, their reply was very quick, they sent a new shower and organized a local fitter. Excellent service and now, the shower works perfect. I recommend it.

Good shower, temperature does fluctuate a little when water is run tap/toilet but happy with the showers performance overall

It's a nice unit, looks the part, occasionally flips onto cold mode when it's running for no apparent reason, but it's nice to see approx temp and whether it's reached it before I get in

Was very impressed initially. Ordered the shower on 30 May 2019 from Plumb2u through Amazon. With a weekend in between the shower arrived on the 3 June. Had to wait until 6 June for the plumber to fit. On reading the company literature regarding the guarantee, a registration card had to be filled in and returned. Try as we might no such card could be found. I have since phoned Plumb2u twice now, leaving a clear message each time with the number to call back. They appear to be still on a tea break. After sales help non existent. Very disappointing indeed.
