Tremendous value, great performance.
What a great mic! Noise levels are almost too quiet. I know there's no such thing... Talk about a great mic for the money, call me impressed.

Really impressed with the quilty of sound reproduction for voiceover work. Quiet, accurate.
High quality construction and lots of goodies in the box. We went with the signature version (without the USB connector) since XLR to a Focusright is a better way to get your signal converted.Very impressed. We tested this side by side with a Sennheiser MK 416, an MXL 2006, an MXL BD-1, and A Synco D2.Results: The Sennheiser was the winner. Incredible. But this NT1 was a close 2nd place. It's a different kind of mic (cardioid condenser vs shotgun) of course, and picks up a wider field of sound, but in a well treated room that should make no difference. The NT1 was the most "accurate" of the bunch. High quality sound reproduction, quiet, precise. I can see why so many pros use this mic, at least when they start out.The MXL 2006 was almost indistinguishable, perhaps a bit "warmer" and "friendlier" sounding output. The bass voice SLIGHTLY preferred it over the NT1. The young female voice preferred the NT1. Both agreed it was hard to tell them apart. The Synco was garbage and stripped out all emotion, depth, made both people sound flat, and generally was outclassed by all the other mics, especially the Sennhieser it's supposed to be chasing/imitating. It's not even close. Stay away. The MLX BD1 dynamic mic was the surprise of the bunch, being a dynamic mic you have to get closer to it or be a loud person, it's better for singing. In that arena it was the best by far. All the condenser mics stripped something out of the singing voice, it's hard to describe but they took the life out, while the dynamic BD1 left it all in.Overall, for Voiceover or podcast work, the NT1 made both voices sound like they actually sound, very faithful and true. A great mic.

Great microphone!
Rocks star microphone 🎤 I’m a dirt track announcer and I wasn’t sure I wanted a condenser microphone. A friend told me just to give it a try. So I bought a small sound absorbing pad and wrapped around the back. It works incredibly well and the sound quality is definitely there.

Beautiful!
This mic is perfect for any kind of creator, with it's amazing quality it sounds beautiful. It's metal body gives it great durability and with the right softwares it has vast functionality. This mic is a great value for money, but keep in mind that it is an xlr mic, so you will need an audio mixer to use it with your PC.

Value, Value, Value!
Probably the best LDC within this price point of sub 170$. It also comes with EVERYTHING you could need (besides an interface/stand) which for the price is very generous and respectable.Fairly smooth sound, although, I give it 4/5 stars due to it sounding - to me - worse than the fourth generation of the same mic. Which is a shame, because I adored my voice on the NT1 fourth generation. Overall though, for this price, this is just lovely. 8/10
