is this product recommended for temporary dyed hair (hair color lasting up to 8 washings)?

I put about two droppers in my color mixture, demi permanent and permanent. When the cuticle opens during processing (in the case of permanent color) the oil penetrates inside the hair shaft, when normally it would only stay on the outside. My hair is always really shiny and in great condition after I color. I think it's because of the oil. I've done this for many years. Just be sure you're constantly stirring or shaking the mixture to ensure it's blended.

is this oil heavy in the hair? I have thin hair and many Products are heavy and oily.

I would not even call it heavy. 1-2 drops (not pumps!) added to your regular amount of hair conditioner revives it a little bit, but it 1-2 extra drops makes my hair so greasy that I have to wash it again. So be careful with it. It is oily! If you would like add some body to your hair try gelatin hair mask. And maybe even add argan oil to it. Works great for me.
