Don't let the rewiring scare you away!
This is a great replacement LED for my 9" Circline fluorescent ceiling light. I was getting tired of replacing the fluorescent bulb every year or so because the light was being switched on/off so frequently. I was nervous about having to do the rewiring work, but Celiwace made it easy. With the power off, I clipped the 120V AC wires at the fluorescent ballast (leaving it in place), trimmed a bit of insulation from the ends, and used the included splicing connector to wire up the LED unit. Magnets mounted the LED right where the fluorescent bulb used to be, and I was done! (They also supply special clips that can be used to mount the LED using the old fluorescent bulb, if that works better for you.)This light is BRIGHT—especially if you are used to having an aging fluorescent bulb providing dim output. I wished I'd made this conversion years ago!

Get rid of the round fluorescent lights and use this LED one
This Celiwace LED light is a great replacement for the old fluorescent type lights. This does require installation but can be done if you follow the directions.Although this Celiwace is about $30, you do get two. And the obvious advantages of LED over fluorescent are the energy savings and the lights just looks so much better too.

A really nice LED conversion
FC9T9 bulbs are a pain to find even on a good day, so finding this LED version was nice.We can also get the negative out of the way upfront: this has to be wired to 120v mains, which probably means dropping the fixture. It’s annoying, but is pretty common nowadays to do an LED conversion. The unit itself, however, is surprisingly well made. Each LED is mounted behind a convex lens which has the unique characteristic of casting most of the light away from the LED at a 45 degree downward angle. Since most FC9 housings are domed, this is exactly what you want: the light being evenly dispersed down and to the side. It was funny because when I first hooked it up I was disappointed with the brightness while looking at it straight on, but as soon as I started tipping it I nearly blinded myself. They made this properly. The ‘bulb’ has three magnets that will attach to a steel housing, or you can install the included bulb clips onto a burned out existing fluorescent bulb, and then attach the LED to those clips with the magnets. Brilliant! Finally, the last nice thing is that this is in a truer white color. Most of the FC9 bulbs can only be found in softer, yellower colors, so this shifted the color closer to what my partner wanted.

Super bright!
I believe this is one of the best designed replacements for T8 and T9 round fluorescent lights I have seen. I can’t say enough about these. I had an old diopter lamp in my shop, transformer was burnt up years ago and I was fixin to send it to the waste bin. I really didn’t want to as it has the 10x lens but I hadn’t found an inexpensive solution for the light. Until now. This LED replacement is perfect. It has a very minimal body and comes with multiple options for mounting, even the mounts to attach it to the old fluorescent bulb if you wish. It says for T9 application but my lamp used T8 and this went right into the lamp and the lip retains it. Couldn’t have been any better. And as for wiring simply remove any transformer, ballast, or starter from the circuit and wire this direct to the hot and neutral supply wires. That’s it and your old fixture or lamp be throwing out some serious ultra brilliant natural light. Give them a try and thank me later.

Easy Solution For Round Fluorescent Lamp Replacement
The media could not be loaded. Will this fit? The lamp is just a few millimeters thick and 9 1/16" in diameter. There are a few styles of magnetic standoffs that will help attach the new fixture to your old lamp. You'll need to basically gut your lamp removing the starter and the ballast leaving only the two 120V AC line and neutral wires. This kit comes with a 2 wire splice connector to join your lamp wires to the led light. The specs that are printed on the device are a bit off but it will not affect it from functioning properly. In summary I think this is a good product as it will keep a appliance out of the landfill.Cheers
