Staple!
This e.l.f. lip liner honestly exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I was looking for something affordable that still had good pigment and stayed in place throughout the day, and this checks all the boxes. The formula is smooth and easy to apply without tugging on the lips, which I really appreciate. It glides on evenly and makes it super easy to define the lips or slightly overline for a fuller look. The color payoff is rich right away, so you don’t have to go over it multiple times to build it up. I also love how well it pairs with different lipsticks and glosses. It helps prevent feathering and keeps everything looking more polished and put together. On its own, it also looks really nice for a more natural, lined-lip look. For longevity, it holds up surprisingly well for a drugstore liner. I still need to touch it up after eating or drinking, but overall it stays put longer than I expected. For the price point, this is an easy repurchase. It’s one of those everyday essentials that just works and makes your lip products look better overall.

So Creamy and I love the color 💕💕💕
I absolutely love how creamy and smooth this lip liner is! It glides on so easily without tugging or feeling dry, and the color is gorgeous. The pigmentation is really nice too, and it’s easy to apply and blend with my lipstick or gloss. The formula feels comfortable on the lips and makes application super easy. My only downside is that it doesn’t stay on as long as I would like. I find myself needing to reapply it throughout the day, especially after eating or drinking. I still really enjoy the color and the creamy formula, but I just wish it had better staying power. Overall, a great lip liner if you prioritize a smooth, creamy application over long-lasting wear!

Smooth and Pigmented
Very creamy, easy to apply, and the color is beautiful. It defines the lips well and lasts a long time. Great quality for the price

First Time Trying Lip Liner Turned Out Great!
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this lip liner, especially considering the price. The formula glides on smoothly without tugging at my lips, making it easy to create a precise outline or fill in my lips completely for longer-lasting color. I purchased the shade “Plum & Get It,” and the color is rich, flattering, and highly pigmented. It adds depth to lip looks without looking harsh, and it pairs well with a variety of lipsticks and glosses. I also appreciate that the color applies evenly and doesn’t look patchy. The pencil sharpens well and the tip stays firm enough for detailed application. Once applied, the liner helps prevent feathering and gives my lip products a more polished finish. For such an affordable product, the quality is impressive and easily compares to lip liners that cost much more. Overall, this is a great budget-friendly makeup staple. If you’re looking for a smooth, pigmented lip liner that performs well and comes in beautiful shades, this is definitely worth trying.

$3 Lip Liners That Perform Like High End
I grabbed three shades of the e.l.f. Cream Glide Lip Liner — Truth or Bare, Baddest Beige, and Mauve Aside — fully expecting “good for the price.” What I got instead was “why are these competing with liners five times the cost?” These little pencils showed up ready to work. Texture & glide: The name is accurate. These are genuinely creamy and glide on easily without that dry-pencil tug-of-war nobody asked for. No dragging, no lip gymnastics, no warming it up like you’re starting an old lawn mower. Just smooth application right away. Creamy but not sticky: They go on creamy but set down to a comfortable semi-matte. Not waxy, not sticky, not slippery. Once they’re on, they stay put without feeling like you laminated your lips. Color payoff (shade notes): The pigment is strong. One pass gives full, even color. Truth or Bare — a balanced neutral nude that works beautifully for everyday looks Baddest Beige — warmer and slightly deeper, great for contouring or pairing with gloss Mauve Aside — the most statement of the three, a rosy-mauve that adds instant polish All three layer well with lipstick or gloss and also look good worn lightly filled in on their own. Finish: The semi-matte finish is a sweet spot. It defines and shapes without looking flat or chalky. Lips still look like lips, just better behaved. Moisturizing feel: For a matte-leaning liner, these feel surprisingly comfortable. They don’t dry my lips out, and I can wear them filled in without that desert-floor feeling later. Wear time & staying power: They hold their line well and resist feathering. I get solid wear through normal talking and sipping. Oils and full meals will break it down, but the fade is even, not patchy. Size & use: Standard pencil size, easy to sharpen, and not overly soft, so you’re not burning through product every time you line your lips. Good balance between creaminess and structure. Value: At $3 each, this is the part where I start side-eyeing my expensive liners. The performance-to-price ratio is ridiculous in the best way. You can build a whole shade wardrobe for the cost of one prestige pencil. Bottom line: creamy, pigmented, comfortable, and reliable. Five stars and absolutely worth grabbing multiple shades without guilt. Your lips — and your wallet — will both feel respected.

Creamy, Rich Color That Actually Stays On
Love this lip liner! It’s creamy and glides on easily, but still has great staying power. The color is rich and looks beautiful whether I use it just to line my lips or fill them in completely for an all-over color. It’s also really easy to sharpen, which is a plus. Definitely one I’ll keep using!

Impressed and great value
“Baddest beige” a perfect neutral color for everyday. Can be applied lightly or darker. “Mauve aside” is darker. It’s a creamy formula that can easily be worn by itself like a lipstick since it goes on so smooth. Appreciate the great value pricing. Will get more, looking for more cool-toned colors beige/grayish that are not too dark.

Great coverage and long lasting color
I love these lip liners. They are long lasting and the colors I chose, Pinky Swear and Truth or Bare, are so natural looking. Honestly, sometimes I wear them without lipstick, just a little gloss and it just defines my lips. There's no scent and it doesn't feel heavy on my lips. It isn't drying and you don't have to apply a lot because it has really good coverage. Amazon had the lowest price I could find so I got both of them. Another thing I appreciate is that ELF is cruelty free and that is something I care about. I will most likely order some of the darker colors for winter. I think the Melot Tho and Mauve aside would be good colors for fall and winter.

Super creamy, and lasts for quite some time!
Tbh, this is the only elf lip liner I own, because hello expensive as hell, but it’s so good almost makes me wanna get another in a brown or plum shade maybe. I’d rate it a 4/5 The colour is stunning and matches my golden skin tone so well

Morbida, burrosa, pigmentata, non a lunga durata.
Matita estremamente burrosa e morbida.
