Compact, good buld quality, looks good and comfortable to use. The machine sits sturdy on the kitchen platform when in use; hardly any vibration is felt. The blade is of excellent quality and the plastic cover makes it very convenient to fix and remove the blade. When scraping you just need to hold the coconut firmly so that the coconut doesn't fly off and you don't get hurt with the blade. There is no need for pressing coconut too much against the blade. Just rotate the coconut to get even scraping on all side and the bottom. Since it turns on and off via a self releasing button on top, it's easy to stop and start as you scrape. The end result is finely scraped coconut. It's been only a week of usage and I have scraped some 5 coconuts already. It's been so easy. I just love it. It's a little noisy but so are mixers.....so can't consider it an issue.

Good one, very useful

It was after a lot of thought and speculations that I decided to buy this product. I also read a lot of reviews on other products available on Amazon and finally decided to go with this one. I am very much satisfied with the product. It's a standard product and lightweight too. The vaccum stands are also good and they hold the machine well. Using the product also was quite easy and it took me less than 15 minutes to scrape 3 whole coconuts. I tried with coconuts of varying sizes. Since it was my first time I used it in the lower speed; I hope to get better with my experience..🙂🙂. The only concern is that the coconut while scraping in the beginning gets scattered around the left side of the container...perhaps using a bigger vessel may be the solution...I need to check it out the next time...But overall I'm very much satisfied with the product...It efficiently saves a lot of time and effort....👍👍👍. I haven't used the juicer facility yet but I believe it would also work well.

Useless product. Does not work as intended

Very good and useful product.

It is effective, but exercise caution while using it. It is advisable to maintain a slow speed while scraping. Keep your full attention focused on the scraper. Do not use your finger to clean the blade during the scraping process; instead, use a spoon or a piece of wood.

I am writing this review after 3 months of use. I was earlier sceptical about going for motorised coconut scrapper, but as a senior citizen I needed a motorised coconut scrapper which reduces my shoulder pain associated with manual scrapper. Pros: 1. One of the easiest to attach scraper( to machine and removing from the machine ) without hurting your hand. Also, very easy to clean. 2. The machine comes with two speeds but I felt low speed is good enough for scraping the flesh from coconut and removal of flesh is quite efficient. 3. The vacuum pods are good and throughout the operation it doesn’t lift and come out(associated with manual scrapper like Anjali) 4. You can easily scrap two full coconuts in one go. I have not tried beyond that to see machine heating up. 5. The plastic attachment ( to avoid coconut flesh flying in all different directions) is OK and does its job. 6. As given in video, start scraping from edge and slowly go towards centre for better result. Cons: 1. While you are scraping coconut nearer the edge the flesh has the tendency to fly even to a distance of a foot or more ( you cannot avoid it). You need to have wider coverage ( like spreading a newspaper)to collect scraped flesh. 2. If the coconut is small holding the shell is tricky and has the tendency to slip from the grip which may cause injury to fingers. Try to use medium to bigger coconut (also ensure the breaking of coconut is almost in two proper halves) so that you have sufficient grip. 3. As you go closer to centre of the coconut you need to see how much is left( flesh nearer to the shell) and in the process coconut flesh flying to different directions are more. To avoid it you need to carefully rotate and scrap. 4. The tip of the scraper blade is not that efficient compared to side serration. This means like manual scraping you cannot do very close shaving of flesh from the coconut. 5. Compared to manual scraping the wastage is little more. I hope this review will be of use. Sathia

The product is good. The motor seems powerful. It stands firmly on the platform. The bushes do absorb the vibration well. The switch is press to on like a bell switch so it turns off automatically if we take the hand from it, which is a good safety feature. It is able to grate the coconut very well. One need to be little careful when using the product not to hurt your hand.
