Just kidding, this book was so good but I knew it would Avina is a beautiful writer, she just has a way with her words.This follows Roman (Micky) and Isabella (Pigtails or Bella). These two grew up together as kids, were both outcasts and both had horrible childhoods. They found love and strength in one another. Roman is always there to pick up the pieces and always has Bella’s back, this guy braids her hair for her like what… my literal heart exploded reading this it was so cute. They truly are soulmates. When something happens to Roman causing him to go away for 3 years Bella is left to pick up all her broken pieces of her heart. This makes her angry with Roman thinking he never really cared for her. Meanwhile Roman has never stopped thinking about her or living for her. When Roman comes back he decides he’s taking revenge on who’s done her wrong, but that means he’s back in her life and she’s pissed. This whole story is so amazing the push and pull between these two is chefs kiss. I could feel the emotion from both of them. Their journey of escaping the darkness that haunts them takes them on this crazy journey. Can they trust, forgive one another and find happiness. I love Roman he’s literally a Golden Retriever but with Doberman energy. He’s sexy, dark, and obsessive/possessive. Bella is defiant, strong, beautiful, and a brat but we love her pushing his every single button. They love each other so much and that is so evident through the entire book. Also the spice in this was top tier. Lemme just start off this review by stating the fact that crack and Roman are both five letter words, coincidence? I think tf not.Roman is so delulu and I love him for it. He’s perfect (on paper. If a man like him existed irl I would run for the hills)I also love Isabella’s character development throughout the book and how she can get Roman on his knees in an instant. He’s such a simp for her.Another 5 star read by miss Avina St. Graves and I can’t wait to read everything else she writes 🧎🏻‍♀️🖤
