My kid wanted the $150 dino magnet tile set from the store. So I began my detective work to find an acceptable alternative.This was a great solution! Though for 4+ years I’d recommend maybe buying 2 of these sets so they can build things from the instruction manual it comes with.It’s a generic booklet but has ideas for much larger builds. Either way, buying 2 of these sets is still cheaper than one small set of fancy brand tiles!And if you already have fancy ones, these work with them.Pros: value, variety of colors, strong magnetsCons: designs only printed on only one side of tile

Purchased for my grandson who is 4 but was 3 at the time of purchase. He loves them and we have already purchased more from Walmart so that he could take his creativity to another level. The magnets held together perfectly allowing him to build according to his imagination. I even played with them. Would recommend over legos because the pieces are bigger and it they come with a bag for easy cleanup and storage.
