Amazing Fun
PitchCar Mini has taken over my board-gaming life recently, solidifying itself as regular whether it's a quick two-player game or a whole room of drunken friends on a friday night. The game is so simple, easy to explain/play and always ends up being immensely fun.In PitchCar you and your friends take it in turns to flick your discs around a modular wooden track and aim to be the first to complete 3 laps. To play the game well you need to gauge your power correctly and use the rails to get around the corners fast. Like many dexterity games, this results usually in either tremendous success or tremendous failure, which is always funny. It's a game where everyone will make a crappy shot or two but it's rarely frustrating, yet when you make a great one it's genuinely satisfying.Other than the game itself there are some points to note:- You should play this on a flat table where possible. My dining table extends in the middle which leaves a very tiny height indifference between it's sections - causing the tracks that go over it to protrude at the connections and therefore can cause the cars to bounce off of it which is very frustrating.- This core set is a bit light on content and could have done with a few more pieces to give more track variety. This makes the first expansion, that includes jumps, absolutely essential so if you're considering buying this then you should factor that into the cost.- I haven't played the full PitchCar for reference, but I know it would have been way too big for my table. PitchCar Mini though allows me to have quite big and elaborate tracks on my table with ease making it very convenient (the box is also surprisingly small and portable - even fitting in expansion 1). The discs are very light, but this makes gauging your power all the more important - as predictably all of you will at some point shoot one across the room.

Harder than it looks
Good to play, trying to keep the "cars" on the track at times is more difficult than it looks. Bought the mini version so it didn't take up as much space (and was far cheaper) but still need plenty of room to move around to be able to get good access to all the track.Only gripe is that unless the surface is totally level the track pieces can stick up so can't get a clean shot.

Absolute blast for people of all ages.
What can I say about Pitcher? Such a great, simple, but hugely fun game. You build a wooden track and flick counters around it to race. So simple but such a laugh. This mini version will fit on a coffee table as opposed to the full version which takes up the best part of half a table tennis table! The counters are a little lighter in this version which makes them easier to flick off the track but when you catch them right they go for a surprisingly long way. There are various extensions with ramps and tunnels to add to the madness. The cost seems a little high due to the cult nature of the game but the components are quality and the game is well worth it.

The mini version still packs a punch
This has been a blast every time we've gotten this game out, it's even tempted me to get the bigger version for the family holidays to stop everyone cramping around the smaller race track. The track is configurable but even out of the box will fit on most coffee tables, the table must be flat any bumps or irregularities on the table can cause the track connections to form lips which if stuck during your 'pitch' will send the car flying. We have played with kids from the age of 3 (they loose interest quickly) to adults who are 60+ and everyone is gripped to the race and the players fight over the positions.

Dissapointing Car Components, Not What's Shown on Box
Bought a copy for myself and one as a present for a friend's young lad for Christmas, on opening the box I was expecting to see the lovely looking beveled car pieces like the image on the box cover, just like the heafty pieces you would get in a Crokinole set. Instead what you get are cheap light weight straight edged wooden pieces that fly all over the place if you put any pressure on during your go. There are 10 different colour cars and they weight just under a gram a piece. Deceptive game components in the extreme, company should be refered to the Trading Standards Authority or whatever is the equivlent in the country that makes this box of lies. Needless to say, we played a few frustrated games and boxed it up, probably never to see the light of day again.

Timeless appeal for budding Lewis Hamiltons
We discovered this game at a friend’s. It’s so simple that it can be played by anyone with the minimum of explanation. My three boys aged 8, 10 and 13 love it and so do their friends.and who would have thought that a game requiring no WiFi signal, batteries or a log in could be so popular? The games arrived missing one of the lengths of track. I contacted the supplier and one arrived from France within a couple of days which counts as great after-sales service.

Pitch Car Mini
A fun board game, where you first design and build a track out of wooden pieces, then race your friends round it by flicking small counters representing the cars.Skeptical? I was at first, but once you start competing with your fellow players you'll be having so much fun you won't want to stop. Enjoyable in groups of 2 or more people, and suitable for all ages, a great little game.
