I used the attachment for many years until the motor housing in my mixer started dripping "food safe" grease into the bowl. The company says not to worry—it's perfectly safe, but it's disgusting. The mixer is extremely heavy, and it's ridiculous to pull it out just to use the meat grinder, and if I toss the mixer the grinder is worthless.This brings me to the purchase of your product. I looked around online to find what, on the surface, looked to be a good product, but I chose yours because the price was good, and most importantly, it looked sturdy and strong. So, I ordered your product, and I am ever so happy that I did!First—it was as sturdy as it looked in the photo online.Second—it has some weight to it and that gives it credibility. It clamps onto my kitchen counter and IT STAYS PUT WHILE USING IT!Third—the pieces look exactly like the ones in my now worthless meat grinder attachment, which can't be used as a stand-alone tool.Fourth—It assembles easily and does a great job grinding meat. I like to make ham salad with leftover ham and it's the perfect tool!Fifth—it is easy to clean! I wash it by hand, since I don't have a dishwasher.Sixth—it fits easily in the cupboard. It's a stand-alone product.Seventh—overall, this is an amazing product! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well constructed meat grinder.
