Sound Addicted DSS - Universal Silicone Desktop Speaker Stands for 3'' to 5'' Speakers or Studio Monitors (Pair)

I didn't realize how much difference having desktop speakers point directly at my head would make in what I heard. I am using Definitive Studio Monitor 350s on my desktop with my PC. I wouldn't have spent that much money on computer speakers but I was lucky in that I had an extra pair of these speakers. These speakers weight 14 pounds each and are roughly 11hx7wx9d.

I was expecting a hard plastic-y pair of bases. They are more rubbery though. Super-solid build quality. They fit perfectly under my Presonus 3.5" monitors. They could easily, and quite nicely, fit up to 8" monitors, I believe. The angle is just right for pointing up or down, the functionality is perfect for near/mid/far. The price was excellent, and well worth the small expense. I'll be buying three more pairs: one for my other monitors and a couple of pairs of bookshelf speakers. Great value. Very satisfied customer. I wish I had bought these years ago. Highly recommended.

They did their job. Used for a Klipsch 3.1.2 Flex 200 Soundbar which already has excellent sound. But wanted to focus the height channel reflections a little further into the room to optimize the Atmos for my sitting position. Took an already great sound to just that little bit more due to these angle stands. Further, the stands were sturdy enough and deep enough to accommodate the wider and heavier premium Klipsch Soundbar and it's multiple in bar woofers and height channels.

This things work great with my JBL 305 MKii speakers. They're rubbery so they hold the speaker and look fine. Completely functional for what they need to do.

I like these monitor stands for their superior build quality but I am as of yet undecided as to their preformance compared to high density foam monitor isolation pads. One thing to me that is clear is that which ever one may choose, isolation does seem to have a noticeable effect on the preformance and sound of your speakers. I mention this because I was skeptical of how much something so seemingly simple as a sound isolation pad could improve my rigs sound, I figured maybe in the studio or in a live music situation something like that would provide isolation that would be of benefit especially at high volumes. But I was pretty much astonished to discover the improvement it had on my humble set up. These are a bit different than the isolation mats I referenced but similar in purpose and objective. I like how these isolation stands angle the speakers up by approx ten or fifteen degrees, especially useful if your speaker placement is low or on the floor. They are on the smaller side but are perfect for my KEF as well as my Sony bookshelf speakers and actually look like they were made for them.

Was not what I needed.

I was looking for something to use for my thin monitors on their side. They were exactly what I expected, a medium soft rubber with a mat finish that angled my speakers just right under my computer monitors.

These do work great but I wish they had a way to adjust the angle, maybe a little wedge that you can add or not depending on your scenario like the foam kind. The silicone does work well to reduce vibrations and decay time. They absolutely work for what they claim to. Great buy if you don't have speaker stands.
