No idea how these work for the intended purpose. I used them for art and they were good. A little adherence troubles but maybe that wouldn’t be an issue for the intended usage.

I like that it has good thickness and it's malleable. The quality is good the sickness is good and you can split the strip into two pieces, making its usage more versatile. It is very easy to cut with scissors too. The instructions are simple and the stripping is a good length and it is easy to use. The heat retention is good.

Ich habe das Dichtungsband bestellt, um Zugluft an einem alten Fenster und an der Balkontür zu reduzieren und dafür ist es echt gut geeignet. Das Band lässt sich einfach auf die gewünschte Länge zuschneiden und klebt erstaunlich fest. Man sollte allerdings vorher wirklich gründlich reinigen, sonst hält es nicht richtig. Die Dämmung ist spürbar besser geworden. Kalte Luft kommt jetzt deutlich weniger durch, und auch leichte Geräusche von draußen sind etwas gedämpfter. Es ist kein Wundermittel, aber für den Preis auf jeden Fall eine gute Lösung. Was mir positiv aufgefallen ist: Das Material ist flexibel und lässt sich gut in Ecken oder unebene Rahmen drücken, ohne sich gleich wieder zu lösen. Die Farbe Weiß passt auch optisch gut zu den meisten Fensterrahmen. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil das Abziehen der Schutzfolie anfangs etwas fummelig war. Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden. Wer nach einer einfachen Möglichkeit sucht, Fenster oder Türen etwas besser abzudichten, macht hier nichts falsch.

I found this really easy to work with. It cuts to size with ease with some good scissors, and once in place adheres really well. After months of cold and damp it is still in place everywhere I've used it. I needed to make a couple of attempts at placement a few times, but it lifted quite easily if I got to it quickly and stuck back down as if it were the first time. We had some shocking gaps around some of our windows and doors, and careful placement of this stripping has made such a difference. Our kitchen actually felt warm this winter and for the first time for as long as I can remember it has been a room where people spent time and sat together. The only reason for dropping a star is because the backing sometime tore as I removed it from the adhesive surface during application. It is very difficult to remove the remaining backing once this happens - especially if you are removing it whilst sticking the strip in place.
