Expensive, but the only thing that works
I wear orthotics and found I was getting terrible blisters around the arch of my foot. Tried loads of things and this is the only thing that worked. Placed these on the orthotics Used for a half marathon without any trouble at all. Do need replacing from time to time, but I found I could run perhaps a couple of hundred km, perhaps more, before they started to wear down. I also used them for the heel in a couple of shoes I have that rub. The thinness helps compared to foam heel patches that just essentially make your shoe smaller.

Blister problem SOLVED!!!
I used these in my Scarpa B3 climbing boots which were causing me really bad blisters. I had tried all sorts, lacing techniques, heel taping and several sets of insoles. These wee blue patches were the answer. Fairly expensive for what they are in my opinion, but worth it to make my climbing and hiking days enjoyable. I would hazard a guess that duckttape could do the same job, but not as adhesive as these patches, so they are good for a longer term solution. So glad I tried them.

Surprisingly good.
Honestly I thought they was going to be rubbish as Iโve tried everything but I was surprised. They have worked perfect. However I did have to add aficionado super glue because the patch comes off. Itโs difficult to put your foot in the shoe without a shoe horn. Otherwise you will slowly remove the patch. But additional super glue done the trick for me. And not had a problem. Excellent and making my trainers last a lot longer. And protecting my heals from putting a hole in the back of the shoe and stopping blisters.

Helpful product, but use with care
These were recommended when I bought new running shoes. Useful to reduce friction around the heels. Needs careful experimentation to get the position correct. The adhesive backing is good but can be disrupted by pushing foot into the shoe too quickly. Ideally one should use a shoehorn every time, to ensure a smooth entry.

Not cheap, but worth it.
They are quite expensive, but it was worth it as they have prolonged the life of my walking shoes. The inside seam had worn and was rubbing my heel very badly, making them unusable, but with the patch, completely fixed the problem. As I said, a bit pricey, but much cheaper than new walking shoes.

Very good if you get what you order
I've bought these excellent patches at least 4 times. Good adhesion to the shoe. Smooth surface stops friction between shoe and my slightly protruding heel bone (the necessary friction to flex the shoe is instead taken up and dispersed across other areas of the heel). The first 3 deliveries included 2 packs (of 2 patches each), sellotaped together with a label saying 'do not separate'. At around 20 poundssterling for 4 patches they are not cheap, but they are effective. However, on the latest delivery only a single pack arrived (despite having the 'do not separate' label on it) - and that one pack only contained a single patch. I spent an hour trying to apply for a return or chat with amazon or send a message to supplier (Happybees) but every way I tried I was blocked from any contact with either amazon or the seller, being sent round in circles. Finally, I managed to say that the item ordered had not been delivered and a refund is supposedly in process. I accept that errors sometimes occur in product packaging, but being systematically messed about and blocked by the seller (Happybees) and its fulfilment contractor is not acceptable. Update Oct 2024: After leaving it a few months for the supplier and their fulfilment contractor to sort out their stock/packaging, I reordered (2 x 2packs of 2 patches each) and, Yay!, I got 2 x 2packs of 2 patches in the correct illustarted packaging. But, sadly, the 8 patches inside were an entirely different shape from those offered and illustrated on their packets. After a few circular and dead end trips around the ridiculous return/refund loops, I finally found a live chat connection and the human on the other end sorted me out a refund. I wonder if I dare try reordering again in a few months time or whether I shall need to find a different heel blister solution. A pity because they worked well (Sic transit gloria mundi).

Thought they were overpriced. They are not
First stuck in a pair of everyday boots November 2020. Just replaced today, April 2022. Very impressed am ordering more. My boots were lined leather and these stuck. I really had to peel them off to switch them. The only reason I took them off is because finally, the middle had worn down after almost 18 months. I thought these were very expensive when I bought them but took the plunge as I was stuck with slipping boots I wasnโt wearing. Stuck these in and fitting the second pair (I got two pairs in a pack) almost 18 months later. Really pleased. I saved a nice pair of boots!

Didn't fix the problem for me.
I didn't feel these did very much. Disappointed purchase. Expensive for what they are.
