Latitude 7480 14in FHD i5-6300U 16GB 256GB SSD Webcam Backlit Keyboard Black (Renewed)

I was very pleased with my laptop. All of my prior programs and hardware were set on cloud. This made my installs very fast, instant and easy. Like magic. They were all installed with a blink of an eye. It was a pleasant surprise when I saw the outside of the laptop was black with sparkles. Very attractive. Not just the same old plain black. I gave this a 5 star and highly recommend this seller and the product for such a great price.

Note: At the time of my review the price of this computer was $240. It's come down significantly since then, which only makes it that much more attractive. ------------------------ I haven't even finished the OS setup, and I'm already giving this 5 stars all around. I'm going to a professional class in June that is *hugely* important to me and my career, and I just needed something lightweight to take with me for studying and whatnot. The description and the prior reviews for this particular machine already ticked all the proverbial boxes, and now that it's in my hands, I can see that it wasn't wasted money at all. The biggest factor for me is the fact that it has a proper 1920x1080 screen, and not one of those other bizzarro resolutions that laptops tend to come in. On a screen this size, the extra pixels matter a lot for viewing documents. The display is sharp, no dead pixels, and the backlighting is nice and even. Even the slightly older i5 processor is pretty grossly overpowered for what I'm going to be using the computer for, but a little extra horsepower never hurts. And 16 gigs of RAM? Yeah, that's a really nice touch. Storage space isn't really going to be a concern, so the 256GB drive will be more than plenty. An SSD is an absolute must these days and I'm glad it didn't come with a platter drive... although at this price point, adding one wouldn't have been much of a burden either. Other things I like: Backlit keyboard, which also doesn't feel like it's made of cheese. Little pointer-control-mousy-bit-thingy on the keyboard. Responsive touch pad. HDMI out. Three standard USB ports as well as a C-micro. Ethernet port. Micro SD card slot. And what looks like maybe a SIM card slot under that? Is that even a thing? At any rate, it's got an awful lot of external connectivity for such a compact laptop. Very good design. This is a really, really nice little machine. I haven't even done anything of value with it yet and I'm already extremely impressed.

The keyboard is backlit but the alpha-numeric symbols on the keyboard are opaque so no light shines through. Disappointing. But the rest of this laptop is very nice, tho I am concerned with battery life. The battery seems to discharge rather abruptly, as in an hour or so. Maybe it needs to be exercised which I’m trying that theory, or else it’s an old battery or possibly defective. Those are my gripes, but overall the laptop performs quite well.

I liked most everything about this computer for the price. The only things I have an issue with (and these are not just Dell but almost all laptops or desktop keyboards) are: 1) The Touchpad driver/software leaves a number of things out (ex. Sensitivity settings do NOT allow you to adjust the sensitivity of the Touch-click setting), and programming of the center-button is almost useless as is the button itself, but it could have great use. There should also be a button/key to turn the touchpad off (I think HP or some other company does or did have one because I used to have a laptop with one and it was great). These are just examples. 2) Then, my pet peeve for ALL computer keyboards: why to we have a numlock button anymore. If it must be on the keyboard, make it a slide switch or something to let you permanently leave numlock on. It is so unnerving to be typing in numbers, but have the cursor jump all over the place when you have accidentally touched the numlock key. Other than that (and the Dell Latitude is not alone in those deficiencies), I have no other complaints about the computer and really love it.

solo me duro 3 meses, despues de esto se apago y no enciende mas, la lleve a un centro de reparación y resulta que hay que cambiar la placa madre completa, ya que es un problema electronico interno lamentablemente no me sirvio esta compra

I have to say I am satisfied with my Dell latitude and my delivery

I usually like re-newed purchases and even prefer to buy products re-newed and save a bit of money. This purchase was not necessarily a great one, but made do with what I paid. First, the description said "Excellent" condition and I would say it was in "Good" condition. This can be subjective, but there were some deep scuffs on the lid. Didn't affect performance, but because of this, I would say good condition is about all you could rate it as. Next, the battery was toast. Charged like it was fine, but went to 0% in about 2 minutes as soon as I unplugged from power. If it weren't for the long shipping time, I would have sent it back. But I really needed this computer and luckily had a non-functioning model which this one was to replace that had a great functioning battery in it. So I swapped the batteries and was up and running. Hard to complain at the price point these are sold re-newed at. But at the same time, I've purchased a few of these over the last couple years for family and this is the first one that didn't come through as winner.

Laptop is exactly what it says it is, works flawlessly, so far no issues what so ever as far as the hardware and ease of set up for the OS. As an aside, I do wish they would offer Linux as an option, but it is what it is.

works great, I optimized this and i get around 60 fps in most roblox games, max of 110 fps for me. This is a great product for it's price. I recommend

Llegó una semana después de la fecha prometida pero está en excelente estado, no parece que no sea nueva. Todo funciona, incluído el cargador. 10/10

The laptop arrived in great time and looked brand new. The was some over spray on the on button and screen from the refurbishment but this doesn't stop performance. The laptop is great and does everything I require it for. I would strongly recommend considering a refurbished device and saving some money.

This laptop is great has Bluetooth and is fast with the Intel Core i5. I just use the laptop with the charger most of the time but it could run for 7-8 hours without the battery. Which is good. Overall great laptop.

It's quite a good machine for me and for my work. Thanks
