XP-Ultra Series 3 Inch LED Light Pods Off-Road Ditch Light Cube

Happy with the purchase, the lights are bright. The only complaint is that the area it lights up is a little too wide to be super helpful but I may be able to adjust, I need to review the provided instructions. Easy to hook up, I paired with the Auxbeam 6gang power controller and so far everything has been water resistant and they totally change the look of the car.

Been a couple months. I live in Florida, so rain can be heavy at times. No sign of water penetration. Lights are holding great.

I really like the result. I installed these lights at the base of the A pillar on hood brackets. The lights appear to be well made, and the package includes the necessary attachment hardware made of stainless steel. The only issue I have is that the bolts are slightly too long. I mounted them to the brackets on the hood and ended up including a polyurethane bushing between the light and the hood mount to provide a little more clearance from the end of the bolt to the hood surface. You can’t really tell that bushing is there at all. I’ve not tried them at night yet but gagging from the result I see in my shop during the day, they will be fantastic at night. Routing the electrical cable was easy on my Sprinter van. There are openings between the quarter panels and the engine bay that preclude the need for drilling. I then ran the wires to a gang switch I installed in the engine bay.

Worth it? Yes, they are bright and easy to install. I used them as my fog lights, with the fog light kit, it was a quick installation. Everything plugs and plays and no issues. I had an aftermarket buld, which was brighter than stock, but these are way brighter. They felt robust but not bulky or heavy if that makes sense. Definitely will be getting more of their lights in the future.

I had these mounted on the winch bumper of an 07 Tundra and never had an issue with them. Off roading and occasional water crossings over a four year period never hurt them. The beams were strong enough for the conditions where you would use fog lights. The only issue I noticed was the housing paint faded fast though it never came off.

These light work well for my ditch light setup. Waterproof connections are working well. Good light spread for my application. Would buy again.

I bought these lights as the rest of my setup is AuxBeam and they do not disappoint. I couldn’t bring myself to buy the super expensive lights as I don’t off-road at night much so they check the box for me. Changing the lens color was quick and easy and the wire harnesses are hefty. Overall happy with how these look on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
