This was the 2nd one I purchased, and love them! My refrigerator doesn't have enough shelf space for taller drink dispensers so this is the perfect size. Got a second one for my son's house. Keeps the water so cold, and it tastes better that when we used plastic jugs.

We bought a new fridge and none of my tea pitchers would fit inside the doors or shelves. We could take a shelf out but why did I get a bigger fridge to do that and isn’t the main item in a fridge the tea?? At any rate, the space between shelves was 7.5 inches at best. I found this one that held the same amount as my pitchers and was only 6 inches tall!! PERFECT!! I tested it overnight to check for leaking-NONE! The seal is awesome! The rubber washers work fantastic! The lid is a little awkward and doesn’t screw on as easily but I would not send it back for that and might even put my dukes up if you try to take it. ;-) LOVE IT..two days in.

Obviously, this isn't actually the "worst" water storage solution. Paper bag is a marginally worse idea. The Good: 1. Easy to assemble. Contains one spigot, 2 washers, 2 silicon O-ring gaskets and a nut. Install o-rings and washers and tighten the nut, and you're done. If you do this correctly, you'll never have a leak at this juncture (but it'll have other leaks, see below) 2. Sure looks nice sitting in your fridge (before you actually use it). 3. "Est 1925" on the front of the glass instills confidence in the product. The Bad: 1. Spigot handle is attached with a phillips screw that isn't locked down to the spigot body. It is leak proof at first, slowly loosens itself with use. 2. It can't dispense the last 25% of the liquid, leaving about a quart trapped. The spigot inflow "pipe" is installed high enough that much of the water is trapped inside. Also, the pipe is way longer than needed, which means even if you take the unwieldy glass container out and tip it on its side, you don't get much more water out. 3. Unhygienic: in order to even rinse this thing out, you need to dump out a quart of cold water. Sure, you can take off the lid and pour water out of its massive opening into your water bottle, but that's either tedious or messy. Conclusion: Poorly designed. Look elsewhere.

Though this isn't a "normal" review in that I didn't keep this item, I have to send a deserved review for the aesthetic appeal. My circumstances required a measurement slightly smaller in width to fit. Disappointed because, for me, it's a thing of beauty, often overlooked in items that we use every day. The square shape and the incised glass with a silver, stainless steel (not plastic) lid will get second looks on the counter with lemonade or your choice of beverage, or ice water. I read other reviews and can't vouch for leakage since I did not remove, or see the spigot. I really recommend reading the reviews because anytime you're dealing with glass "handle with care" is the rule. With a pre-made hole to insert the spigot, extra caution. And the glass was pretty thick and solid. Before I ordered I did look into the chance of any rusting and knew that sometimes stainless steel will rust if it hasn't been treated. However it's possible to avoid this. Ways can be found with a quick internet search, make certain you opt for non-toxic solutions. Again, only IF this is a problem and I make mention this may not be. With all the current updates on plastics I've steered away from them to glass and non plastic contact with food. That is part of what attracted me to this glass container. So, if there were rusting, I would've been OK with it. Stainless is sign of quality to me over other choices. One suggestion I'd make is that this company also sell this "bottle" without the spigot. I sometimes work with glass and anytime you compress it beyond its ability it will crack. Exposing it to extremes of temperatures suddenly may cause cracks and breakage.

I use this for a fish bowl, and it works perfectly, BUT -- you must assemble it carefully. I broke the first one and ordered a second because I installed the faucet too tight and cracked the glass. After some internet research, I learned... tighten the nut on the faucet as tight as you can get by hand and then 1/4 turn more with a wrench. The faucet will be 'wiggleable' in the bowl but is installed correctly. If you tighten it too tight, you'll crack the glass. If you tighten it tight enough to be firm and pull on the faucet laterally, you'll crack the glass. So its not teenage kid proof, but for my application it works great and I am satisfied. It should come with better installation instructions explaining this issue.

Look so good for my client, and I could put it out or in the fridge to become colder quickly. I love it, perfect size

This is pretty heavy for me to put in the fridge full. It doesnt empty all the way because there is a half inch below the spout. Its really pretty and looks nice though. but with the weight its not stackable

I purchased the Glass Drink Dispenser to replace the plastic one that I used to keep in the fridge. Unfortunately, while the product has some positives, its main functionality is severely flawed. Positives The dispenser is visually appealing. The spigot is utterly useless in practice. When the dispenser sits in the fridge and I open the spigot to let water run through, barely any water flows through. The only way to get the water running is to lift and tilt the back of the dispenser, which defeats the purpose of having a spigot. Also, the position of the spigot results in much of the water being unable to leave the dispenser - even if slightly tilted. This issue makes the dispenser functionally inferior to the plastic one I used previously, which had a perfectly working spigot placed almost perfectly at the bottom of the container. Solution A better spigot would likely resolve the flow-through issue. Conclusion Unless the spigot issue is addressed and fixed, I cannot recommend this product. While the glass design is aesthetically pleasing, the dispenser fails to perform its basic function. If you're looking for convenience and usability, this product, as it stands, is not worth the purchase. I will be returning it.

Purchased this dispenser to keep cold water in my new fridge. There is not a lot of space between the shelves, the doors are already filled with milk, juice etc. The measurements of this product fit perfectly on my fridge shelf and holds 3.5 liters of liquid. My only complaint is the dispenser is heavy ( being glass) and is a little awkward carrying it from the sink to the fridge. Reading other reviews, some stated the dispenser leaked if not tightened with a special tool! I've had no problem with leaking so far.
