Guelain Patchouli Ardent by Guerlain 4.2 oz Eau de Parfum Spray

Patchouli has always been a favorite scent of mine when it comes to perfumes. I typically buy Tom Ford's Patchouli in the white bottle. That is the best patchouli perfume out there. I purchased my first bottle of Tom Ford right here on Amazon but when I went to reorder it was out of stock and when I check again, it was way more expensive then when I previously purchased it. I decided to try Guerlain's Patchouli because 1) Guerlain is a respected brand 2) The bottle is bigger than Tom Ford and 3). It is considerable less expensive than the same size for the Tom Ford perfume. Now I have to say that Tom Ford is still my favorite brand but this one comes pretty close. It has a distinct smell that last a long time and when I wear it I get compliments. My mom says that this scent is stronger than Tom Ford's but I beg to differ. Both scents spray on strong but then mixed with your body chemistry it becomes a softer scent and very delicious smelling. I'm glad to have taken a chance to purchase this brand because now I have a back up plan for when Tom Ford is out of stock.

Smells amazing. The smell lasts for days. A little bit pricey, but worth every penny

I’m just not detecting the patchouli in this. This smells very much like Oud Mood from John Varvartos to me. Has that heavy Oud stank lol. It’s not bad dont get me wrong , but where’s the patchouli???

Profumazione tra lo sgradevole e il piacevole ! Giudizio incomprensibile? Lo spiego così: non appena spruzzato, in quantità minima, sembra legnoso somigliante a un Vetiver ( ma non lo è) poi in poco tempo emerge il patchouli che cambia totalmente la percezione iniziale! Attenzione a non esagerare nella quantità, diverrebbe nauseante.
