Kask Valegro Unisex Road Bike Helmet, unisex_adult, Valegro

I have been pleasantly surprised with how cool this is compared to the Kask Mojito it replaced. In warm weather every time I stopped wearing the Mojito, I could press the front of the helmet to my forehead and get a waterfall of sweat (otherwise it was the perfect helmet). With the Valegro, my head doesn't get as hot. I have ridden with one then the other to compare and it is without doubt much cooler. I can't measure the supposed aerodynamic benefit, so can't comment on that.Comfort is up to the levels of the Mojito, which is to say you can forget you are wearing it. How far bicycle helmets have come! The only problem is that when looking up or looking down sometimes there is a ratcheting noise from the back of the helmet as its fit seems to adjust. It's annoying, but a few seconds later I have forgotten about it. There appears to be less padding around the Valegro which tends to absorb sweat on the Mojito, so I think it will need to join me in the shower less frequently, though this lack of padding doesn't affect its comfort.Sizing is the same as the Mojito, so if you take a large in that, you need a large.I do prefer the all red colour of the Mojito though (Vuelta special edition). The Valegro is mostly red, but has some inner black bits. Just my preference as like an all red helmet, which seems to be so hard to get.

Looks great but chin strap will take some getting used too. Feels somewhat over priced 100 would be more reasonable
