It is an excellent must-have item for the car, the installation of the device was too easy and it connected with my cell phone very quickly, the cameras work very well and help make parking easier and safer, the device is light, fast, It has very good quality and makes mobility by car much easier.

I have a 2010 Sonata with low miles (60k) as a second vehcle and am considering either an external unit such as this or a new head unit for Andoid Auto and CarPlay both. For external, nothing too far above $100 otherwise I'll just grab a full unit for ~$300.Based on the Amazon and online (Tubes) reviews I picked up both the 6.86" and 9.26" versions as I prefer a wide-screen'ish format and don't want to have some hunka huge tablet on my dash. The reviews were mostly filled with hyperbole etc (this is the best ever! I've had this for 5 minutes and my life has changed! etc etc) so I more or less ignored those and took the chance. Today I returned both.Pro:- Nice format. Fits easily on the dash without blocking any major buttons or controls- Wireless CarPlay and Andoid Auto- Wired 1080p backup camera included- Backup cam is on full time by default but if you connect it to the backup light in your car it will activate only in the reverse gear- Basic forward dash cam built into the unit- Can display and record front and rear video at the same time- Boots and connects to your phone in roughly 30 seconds- Can use bluetooth, aux-out (cable included) or, a radio transmitter for audio- Small built-in speaker if all else fails- 6.86" version: unit can be easily removed from the mount by simply sliding upwards. Handy when you need to park in public somewhere without the worry of someone doing a smash n grab- Everything included to easily install and get going- Can power it up inside your home with a USB-C cable on a phone charger to get everythng configured and tested prior to installation- Audio connection via Bluetooth or FM transmitter- Automatically connects to the last device (phone) usedCons:- No wifi connection for the wireless connection, only bluetooth. Not too much of an issue though as both AA & CP support either- Description labels this unit as "wireless" wich is not completely true. Only Andoid Auto, CarPlay, and audio out are wireless- The bezel on the 6.86" unit is quite low reducing screen real estate. Smaller text such as the time, temp, etc is difficult to read especially while driving - not good nor safe (I have 20/20 vision btw)- Front dash cam quality is sub par. Even in daylight license plate numbers do not show clearly enough- Screen resolution and ratio are "wonky". The boot splash screen has excellant quality however, the unit is not using a native resolution which makes everything squished down to fit the wide format. Ex: this causes images of other cars etc in the backup cam to appear as if they are 15 feet wide and 1 foot tall (exaggeration). Within the GUI and maps there are no circular objects. Due to the screen ratio it squishes everything down to ovals and egg shapes.- Both units began shutting down at random at around the 20 minute mark. Day was overcast and tenperatures in the 50s F so it's not a heat issue.- Tremendous glare on the screens causng it to be completely unreadable in sunlight.- Automatic dark mode does not work in the same way as your phone: you put it on a schedule such as 6pm to 6am. It's not automatic as the description indicates- Included 64gb sdCard is a subpar module - definitely supply a replacement- The screens are a magnet for fingerprints- Output of the forward dash cam at 2.5k resolution still is subpar. Scenery looks great but when you look at detail or even a license plate it all goes to the toilet.- If you live in a state or region that gets a bit salty with things on your dash or windshield keep in mind this unit is not super low profile. My dash is high so mounting on the dash is not an option for this type of vehicle.- Unit gets a bit "glitchy" after it's been on for more than 30 minutes: touch screen becomes a bit nonresponsive at times.- To switch from AA to CP or vice versa requires turning the unit off then on again.- Touch screen is the older type: single finger only - no pinching for zoom etcWith both the 6.86" and 9.26" units presenting the same issues of screen ratio and random shutdowns / restarts they're a fail for me. I have ordered the standard 9" version as one last attempt. This is a different screen size, etc so perhaps the ratio will be okay and hopefully there will no lockups of the device. If this one fails too I'll just spring for a ~$300 head unit rather than more frustration.PS - last attached pic shows both versions next to each other for comparison.

Using with a S23 and it's been great so far. Sometimes it takes a bit longer to connect but once it's connected it works as it should. The Android auto works seamlessly. The display is crisp 1080 but not 4k. It is a bit slow when trying to navigate through settings. The window mount has a great hold but the extension piece bounces quite a bit while driving. The front camera works great and is adjustable. It does need to be plugged in at all times, it's not wireless. Overall this is a handy way to have Android auto and screen mirroring in a car that may not have it.

***UPDATE***Unit stopped functioning after four months.No response from customer service email.Would not recommend.Lowering my rating from 3 1/2 stars to one star.***Original review below***First unit was DOA, but Amazon quickly sent a replacement unit.My experience with the replacement unit is mostly positive, with a few annoying glitches.Pros:-Allows you to stream media directly to your car radio via FM, Bluetooth, or auxiliary input.-Dash cam has serviceable video.-No need to replace the head unit on an older vehicle to enjoy streaming music or audiobooks while you drive-includes rear back up camera, but I have not hardwired that in yetCons:-Audio quality within certain CarPlay apps is not great… If I stream from Pandora, the audio quality is much better than if streaming from Apple Music or the Audible app.-Unit will randomly turn off and reboot itself with no warning and occasionally gets stuck in a reboot loop until the 12 V power is disconnectedOverall, I am happy enough with the unit to put up with the cons on my 15 year old vehicle but will likely ditch this smart screen if I find a deal on a permanent car stereo head unit with similar features.

The connection with my iphone was easy. I liked how the carplay worked with maps and other applications. The recording of the dash cam is also good quality with wide angle. I have not connected the back camera but the instructions seems atraightforward

I bought this after getting a new car with Apple CarPlay and a reverse camera. Then it bothered me that my wife’s van didn’t have those features after getting used to them in my new car. We got this for my wife for Christmas. My oldest kid and I wired the van, hiding the wires under panels. It works great. I love that it also records a front facing view for safety purposes. I did my research before purchasing, and this one was the best I could find for the cost. It has lived up to expectations.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a perfect fit for my 2008 Dodge Ram which was considered loaded at the time, but not so much anymore.The CarPlay arrived in 2 days, and the first thing I noticed was that this is a solid unit. I was expecting a lighter and cheaper plastic display, but this thing is solid. It includes a micro SD (pre-inserted) as a nice touch. The screen is a nice size, and can be shut off by a short press on the power button if you find it distracting at night. Unit continues to function, just no display. I mounted it on the dash for easy access and ran the wires at the base of the windshield. The power adapter is also solid with an internal fuse for added protection and stays cool to the touch even after leaving the carplay on overnight and with charging my phone thru the illuminated USB port.The Android Auto connected within moments. Nice to see phone contacts displayed, and the voice commands to call or text is straight forward.The GPS function is easy to navigate and responds well to voice commands. I am impressed with the sound quality of the FM transmit function - I honestly expected a hiss or other interference over the truck radio.The rear view camera is particularly handy, as I have already backed into both kids cars, and the repairs cost a lot more than this unit! Should have gotten this thing awhile ago. I highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted to integrate CarPlay into my vehicle without replacing the OEM head unit. Therefore, I was on a quest to find a solution that was a) cost-effective, b) reliable, and c) most importantly, compatible with dual Bluetooth. I am delighted to report that this product fulfills all these criteria. The setup process is straightforward, and pairing it with your phone is a breeze. With a bit of effort or assistance from a workshop, you can conceal cables behind the panel seamlessly. The suction is robust, ensuring the device stays securely in place even during bumpy rides or high-speed driving. All functions perform admirably, including navigation, radio, and multimedia playback. It supports all common apps and features voice control—an invaluable asset for maintaining focus on the road without resorting to phone handling. Kudos for this thoughtful inclusion. The screen is user-friendly for video playback, making it ideal for entertaining passengers during traffic delays, waits, or camping trips before bedtime. The brightness is just right, providing a natural array of colors. The unit includes a lengthy 12v power cable for convenient cable management. Additionally, a backup camera is included, although I haven't personally tested it, as I already had one in place.In summary, this product is unquestionably worth considering, especially if obtained at a discounted price. I highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm really impressed with this Lamtto Portable dash cam. The screen is big enough to watch when I was driving. The video quality is amazing both rear and front, especially in low light. I've been able to record clear footage of my everyday drive.Android auto connects seamlessly. The app is also pretty easy to use. I can easily view my footage on my phone, and I can also download it if I need to. The app also has a built-in editor, so I can trim and edit my footage before sharing it. Easy to mount too and with 2 mounting options. I mostly use the rear camera to record traffic behind me, and it's more than capable of doing that.Overall, I'm really happy with the Lamtto dash cam. It's a great dash cam for the price, and it's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a high-quality dash cam with good night vision. See my video and photos for the proof.

I was really excited to give this to my daughter, solving 3 problems at once with the 2 cameras and Android auto, and I'll grant that it was easy to install, but for the 4 days it did work the aux connection was accompanied by a high pitched screech reminiscent of a space shuttle breaking orbit, made worse by using the gas (how???). Okay, we used the slightly fuzzy fm connection instead, oh well. However on the fifth morning the screen wouldn't turn on at all, even after switching out the power cord. Extremely disappointing.
