Clarifying Azelaic Acid 15% Cream

I bought this product to treat facial post-pregnancy pigmentation and mild skin redness. I had considered getting a prescription for Azelaic acid, however a prescription wasn’t needed for this and it had the same concentration. I liked the convenience of being able to order on Amazon as well as the more hydrating and refined formula than you are able to get with the prescribed treatment. I have combination skin, an oily t-zone with normal skin elsewhere that can get a bit dry in the winter months. This product does not make me feel oily at all and absorbs really nicely with the rest of my skincare routine. This is not gritty at all, unlike other well-known brands that I have tried before. It can make your skin feel slightly tingly while you are getting used to it, as with any true azelaic acid product, but you soon get used to this and I no longer notice it at all. I’ve been using this every morning and using Tretinoin in the evening with no irritation at all. I started using this in July and have just started my second bottle, so it is good value for money in my opinion. As it’s a really smooth formula a little goes a long way. The results are modest, but I do feel that my skin is brighter since using it and although not gone, my post pregnancy pigmentation has noticeably lightened and there has been improvement to my redness.

Best non-prescription azelaic I’ve been able to find. Has become an essential in my routine and I’m always sad when it’s no longer available to purchase, which unfortunately happens sometimes! Amazing for reducing redness, keeping breakouts at bay and improving skin texture without being too harsh

I’m not sure whether I have rosacea or not as I’m waiting on a very long list to see a dermatologist. I decided to try azelaic acid to see if it improves my skin. So far, it has massively improved the texture of my facial skin. It’s so much smoother, the pimples/bumps have gone and it’s looking more radiant and hydrated. I’m still quite red, so will continue to use it and see if that improves, but even if it doesn’t, my skin feels nicer already and I’ll just use a green tinged cream to cover up when I need to. I did find it stings a little when you first start using it, but it wears off after an hour or so and your skin does get used to it. It doesn’t have a horrible scent, you only need a little so it lasts a long time and offers excellent value, and it’s a great quality product.

My skin is definitely smoother and looks more even since using this. It has helped fade some hyperpigmentation. Would definitely recommend. It is sometimes a bit prickly but I think that's normal

Have repurchased this azaelic acid twice now. I find it to be hugh quality and compatible with my skin and other products. I use a retinol alongside this with no issues. I didn't experience tingling or itching with this product and was worried I would after reading some other reviews. I find a pump lasts me around 2 months using at least once a day, sometimes twice. I find in terms of helping with redness this has been great as I had some with retinol use and it leaves my skin feeling baby soft, will definitely continue to use.

Rather irritating product, but does work. Personally would purchase a slightly lower percentage to ensure consistent use

Seven months ago I started noticing my skin was getting redder and more inflamed every day. I've had several different, often conflicting diagnosis - mainly acne and rosacea, but the medications and creams I was given by my doctors didn't help. I looked around trying to find a product that could seemed to have benefits to both of these conditions and decided to try this Azaleic Acid. It's very easy to apply - the nozzle allows me to get just the right (pea sized) amount out of the bottle, no mess, no fuss. The bottle has clear instructions for use, start by using it once a day then build up to morning and night. This does create a slight tingling sensation on my skin, but not burning feeling, which from my reading is typical and shows the product is working. It's a very mild feeling and doesn't bother me at all, especially after regular use. I'm careful to space the use of this out - giving at least 10-15 mins before moisturising to avoid diluting the effect of this. This is a product that requires patience. You will not see immediate results instantly. It has taken several months of consistent, mostly daily use, to start seeing my skin coming back to a lighter, more natural shade and for my breakouts to reduce. Luckily, I purchased 4 months ago and there still seems to be a decent amount left in the bottle, so I feel that the £20 I spent on it has been good value for money, as it's lasted quite a while and just a small amount a day, combined with other effective skin care habits, has gone a long way to restoring my skin and my confidence. Very much recommended.

it finally cleared my acne!!! that and tretinoin, was using tret alone and didn’t do much until i used it w azelaic acid!!

This facial cream is actually pretty nice. It feels light and spreads easy. It does not have a greasy residue that is hard to work with. It feels hydrating and not too dewy or drying.

I have been using azelaic acid products for a year, ever since I discovered them. I have used a lot of different types of chemical exfoliants over the years, some work and some don't and some also do different things. I think azelaic acid is fairly gentle, it can itch slightly but that can be helped if your skin is slightly moist when putting it on. Azelaic works well for the redness I have on my nose and cheeks. I have tiny capillaries that at times can be very red, azelaic acid is the only product I have ever used that has reduced them and if I stop using it I can see a difference. I think this is a great product to try if you are interested in azelaic acid.

i have a few other products from this brand and i like it! This cream contains an acid meant to help with exfoliation. i didn't notice any irritation and the cream did help to hydrate my skin without breaking me out!
