The light isn't terribly useful for me, but if you are lighting candles in a dark room, I can see where it would be nice. I almost never use it, but it's there and you can manually turn it off and on. I can use this many times before charging, and it feels a little sturdier than other examples of this kind of product I have used. Recommended.

I light tealights and incense for prayers, daily. This electric lighter is beyond awesome! No more click fighting with bbq lighters to get a flame going, no more dangerous, splintering matches, no more cigarette lighters breaking my nails or scorching my thumb. Charging is quick and efficient and easy to plug into my computer monitor or an USB brick. And I love that there is also a light (if needed) so you can see where a wick or target point is! I am oh so pleased with my purchase and will be buying more in the different color options.

Nice lighters. Used for candles. The ends easily get soot covered and need to be cleaned on occasion. The light is handy, and rarely do I go over the 7 second limit. It does have an "auto off" which is nice.Only advice I have is some wicks will need trimming if they ball up (I never really did that before).

Cute… works great to light my dinner candles. FYI … this is only for lighting wicks. Wouldn’t work for a fireplace or campfire.

I love this lighter! uses a charger instead of fuel. the dork in me loves the way it lights! easy to light candles that have burned down, without getting burned yourself.

I had an electronic candle lighter similar to this one and it unfortunately crapped out on me last month. I got good use out of that thing for many years. I was so bummed out as I'm the queen of candles in my house. I love lighting candles, and was searching frantically for a new electronic candle lighter. This one got great reviews so I got one. I'm so glad I did. It's even better than my original one. It holds a better battery life, my long cord that I used for my original candle lighter was compatible with this new one, and it charges really fast. I usually have like 9 different candles with different scents lit at the same time. What I also think is really cool is that this one comes with a built in flashlight which is helpful if I ever need to find my 2 cats at night. A+!
