I just got the Philips Sonicare One today, it seems to work well. I like that it's a very slim design, good for travel. The case is awful, it won't even come close to staying closed. A truly bad design. I will need to travel with a rubber band around it to keep the head from picking up lint and whatever.

My favorite toothbrush! its compact but works great, it has soft bristles and to replace the heads it doesnt cost much. the battery life lasts me months!

Update I received the replacement from Sonicare after 3 weeks and it works fine. Toothbrush was ok but the travel case would not close, which made it worthless as a travel toothbrush. I reached out to sonicare customer service and they promised to send a replacement, but 2 1/2 weeks later I still have not received. I will be returning to Amazon.

I have the $400 Oral-B AI brush, worked in a dental office and got a crazy good deal on it. I've had probably a couple hundred brushes with my parents and myself working in a dental office. I've tried them all. This is a bit too thin of a brush, but is very gentle and has enough of a vibration to remove plaque. It's cheap enough that I don't care - I'll bring it anywhere and am not worried about it breaking, although it can easily be set off. There's nothing wrong with a soft bristle 'normal' toothbrush, but if you're looking for an upgrade, I'd place this and the $400 brush on the exact same level. As a bonus, it looks nice and modern which seems to be a trend - fashionable toothbrushes. Being small, it fits nearly anywhere. I haven't had to change the batteries now that I think of it... I don't even remember if it's rechargeable or battery powered, it's just worked flawlessly as my 'work' brush for about a year now. Would definitely recommend.

Great for travel. Fits well in a ditty bag and the included cover keeps it clean. Charges last months. Definitely a product I’d buy again.

I honestly can’t tell if I received a defective product or if this is just how poorly this toothbrush is made. First, it barely cleans — the brushing power is weak and ineffective compared to other electric toothbrushes I’ve used and especially what I’m used to from Phillips. It feels like a downgrade in every way. Second, the design is just baffling. The case doesn’t even close properly, making it useless for travel. And to make matters worse, the toothbrush can’t stand upright on its own — it flops over unless you awkwardly lean it against something. For a product of this namesake and price, I expected much better. This feels like a cheap knockoff, not a trusted Philips product. Major letdown. Would not recommend.

I'm returning this First off it's $40. And it's a NEW product. New products would probably have new parts. It says USB rechargeable but only one end is USB. The other end is the two hole C7 looking connector. That like putting a micro USB connection on a new phone. So if I didn't plan to travel with it. I'd still have to lug around the cable still. I could just use my current toothbrush for that. Also the travel holder: It's super cheap. I don't want a fancy holder. But for $40. I wasn't expecting a rubber tube. The closing mechanism isn't even a hinge. It feels like a flap that was heated/melted on that I know is gonna tear off at some point. As an owner of the Philips sonicare 4100. I wanted a USB toothbrush with a good case and USB charging so I wouldn't have to lug around an extra cable. The sonicare 4100 is also $40 btw and much stronger. So it's silly to choose this over the 4100. It's more convenient for me to just lug the 4100 around in a random container. I didn't use this because the cons weren't worth it.

I would give higher, as this is the SECOND time I bought the exact same toothbrush in under 3 years. For one, it is NOT the same toothbrush -- the other one was USB-C and I was surprised this is using a proprietary 2-prong cord that you find in older electronic products (SEE validating AI answer below). Also, the case had a manufacturing defect and wouldn't close shut w/ the latch. I just threw it away. Good brush, but I'd take this off the market. When ask that little "Rufus" AI chat text area: "You're right - the Philips Sonicare One doesn't include a USB-C cable. It comes with a proprietary charging cable that customers frequently describe as "clunky" and "reminiscent of something from the 90's." Many customers mention this as a major disappointment since it's marketed as USB rechargeable but requires its own specific cable that can't be interchanged with standard USB-C cables you might already have."

The case flips open and doesn’t stay closed, it’s cheap and ill-designed. But the toothbrush itself does what you except it to do. I would keep these as a travel item as opposed to my main toothbrush

El cepillo de dientes está bien, nada del otro mundo porque la vibración no es una cosa muy maravillosa, pero lo que menos me gustó es el "Case" de viaje que incluye, solo he utilizado el case una sola ves, estuvo guardado en un neceser con cosas para nada filosas y una que otra toallita facial y aún así esta súper rallado, es de muy ala calidad el plástico del que está hecho.

Giving it one star because as many others have said for months, the travel case won’t stay shut. So many people have reported this that it’s impossible Philips don’t know about it. However, they probably chose not to spend the money on a redesign and continue to ship a product with a “feature” they know to be 100% useless. It isn’t even close to functioning. When you look at the design it is a shameful piece of engineering. I can’t think how anyone with an ounce of common sense ever thought it could work. And did they not even test it? What’s more, the case must be “closed” to fit in the package, so, somewhere, there is a person whose job it is to hold them closed while quickly trying to put the lid on the package before it springs open. Somewhere there is a production line churning these things out, in full knowledge that they are useless. But a new injection mold with a better designed case would cost a lot of money, so let’s not bother to fix it.

I previously owned an oral-b electric toothbrush and it was okay I only used it once or twice a week and used a regular brush the rest because i have sensitive gums and it was just too aggressive but I love how clean my teeth feel when I use an electric and I saw this and bought it because the bristles looked soft and purchased. I am not disappointed! It’s powerful enough but not too powerful that it hurt my gums and does an amazing job cleaning. I love that it has a timer and turns off by itself. The case is cute and great for travel! Would recommend
