HP Pro 6300 Small Form Business Desktop Computer (Core i5 3470 3.2Ghz, 8G DDR3 RAM, 3TB HDD, DVD-ROM, Display Port, VGA, USB 3.0, Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit) (Renewed)

This is the 3rd one I have purchased over the last few years. Nothing is wrong Gn with any of them. I just have a different tower for each of my hobbies.

I bought this computer in Feb. 2018. Within 18 months, the power supply died. A year later, the DVD-drive stopped working. My circumstances changed such that I needed the Wifi capability. I originally paid $255 (after taxes) for the unit. The replacements and repairs cost a total of $113 ($25 to diagnose the busted power supply, $32 to buy a used replacement, $31 for an external DVD-drive, and $25 for the USB-WiFi). This means the unit has cost me $5.40 per month, which I'd say is... not bad. The DVD-drive and Wi-Fi can also be used in future devices or given away, as expect both to have a longer life-cycle). However, non-dollar costs include anxiety about the unit suddenly dying. Repairs also cost me time and energy. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. If it suddenly stops working tomorrow, I won't be too upset.

Its a good value. It is not blazingly fast but fast enough. The computer has a few minor scratches on the exterior but is spotless on the inside. No dust on anything. Everything worked as a new computer. The version of windows comes with all of the authentication documentation and stickers and activated with no problems. It shipped quickly and arrived on time. I would buy another from this vendor if I had the need.

I am having to reset the computer because it did not come with a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro. This might not be an issue for most people but it is not wise to start setting up a computer that has already been set up before you have received it. Maybe it works right out of the box but it could potentially have spyware imbedded in it without your knowing at this point. So if you are paranoid like me about others having access to your PC be prepared to reinstall windows. One other thing, this computer did not have all of the bloatware from HP on it so that was a positive.Currently in the middle of resetting it so if I find any other issues or things I like I will edit this post.

I thought going cheap for a temporary fix until I could save money for the computer I really want would be a good idea, but you know the saying. This seller advertises Refurbished 2018 Windows 10 component, but its just old junk refurbished slightly, also it had a slight thunking noise; also no power cord, so I had to buy one. Needless to say I sent it back, it just wasn't worth the $198 I spent. It's been 16 days and still no refund back on my card. Just spend the extra money and get a new product.

To my surprise it came with keyboard and mouse. Computer worked so well! Pretty fast too. Much faster than my toshiba laptop. I was hoping to upgrade and I'm glad this did exactly what I hoped for.

Works well and was a bargain at $243 to include a keyboard and mouse. My only problem with it is that it’s fairly noisy.

This product works fast and is working great. The price was very cheap. The only thing it doesn't have an HDMI port.

So far, excellent. Naturally, it arrived the traditional 2 days after ordering (without Prime!). Following many diagnostic tests to ensure it was fully functional, I am very happy. Too bad we're stuck with Windows 10; so unfriendly...but I'm working around it.Planning on using it as my media i.e. music centre and Windows Media Player seems to be living up to the challenge with HP Pro 6300 having enough "horsepower" to handle my demands.Receiving an inexpensive mouse and keyboard was simply a small bonus before I beef up their utility. Adding a Wifi adapter fully integrated the unit for my needs.I recommend this HP (never had a problem with an HP!).
