NAT LAMPOONS VACATION (DVD/S) [1999]

Great film

Another I first saw on TV, taped, re-watched, memorized most of the classic lines. There are some scenes in this DVD that were cut by the BBC(Spoilsports). That made it better for me. I would have liked a directors commentry on the DVD, instead of just Scene Selection.

Remember this as being one of my favourite films. Did not disappoint. Even the kids liked it. They agree that it is better than Christmas Vacation which we have had for a while. Lots of classic moments, but love the scene where Clark has a minor breakdown in the car when family want to return home. I have had times when I have experienced similar emotions and have tried to recreate this scene (without the swearing) with my own kids, but not quite as successfully.

This is by far the best National Lampoon film ever! - However saying that, most of them have been terrible.... let me try that again.A hilarious comedy about one family's trip to Walley World, the unfortunate Clark Griswold takes his family on a cross country trip to go to the theme park which suffers a series of unfortunate and very funny events.This film is followed by several sequels, the only one really worth watching is Christmas Vacation - but none of them top the original.

Sparky Griswald at his most self centred and utterly callous! Very funny, goofy and the stunts are ace. If you like films about all American families that are disaster prone and have everything possible go wrong for them then this is maybe old but is ace.

I always order my favorite films! Thank you for your good service.

I bought this as thought it would be funny with Chevy Chase in it, but it was awful and an embarrassment to watch with my family.

National Lampoon's Vacation is a good watch if your in the mood to watch anything funny from an 80's era. Great ending regarding Wally World, and you will enjoy this mad journey across America on this epic family vacation.

Super funny movie, I buy it for my 2 kids as a family movie, but honestly is not for them (they must be 15 years old) ! So I watch it only with my wife and we really enjoy it!

Spensierato. Da vedere con la famiglia intera. Ho fatto bene a prenderlo. Più avanti lo guarderò di nuovo. Chevy Chase fa proprio ridere.

Grande grande film per tutti.
