H1 Bulbs, Super Bright Fog Light Bulb, Pack of 2

( I have added and update to the bottom)This is more of a first impression than a review, since I only got these yesterday. I have 2016 Mercedes E350 with the standard LED light package. Meaning, I have H7 halogens for high beams. When you hit the high beams, the contrast between the 6000k LEDs and the 3550k (Osram Night Breaker 200 in this case) is annoying. As good as the Night Breakers are, they are no match in color or brightness of the LEDs. I was looking at the Osram Night Breaker LED Speed H7 as a direct 1:1 replacement, but acquisition was complicated and I am impatient. Enter the RimThin H7 LED. I was worried these would cause warning messages on my Mercedes canbus system. No problem there. I was concerned that the color would not match the factory 6000k. Also a non issue. It looks like the factory kelvin is closer to 6300k and these are a true 6000k, but that is only if you observe very closely. I was also aware that some of these aftermarket LEDs have a slight delay when switching them on. Again, no problem at all. These come on instantly, maybe even slightly quicker than the factory lights? My final concern is about reliability and longevity. While these are very cheap and easy to replace, I don't want to replace them after 6 months. If they last two years, I will be satisfied. Any less than that will be annoying and I will find myself wishing I had stuck with the Osram LED Speed Option at 6x the price. As a side note: My friend has the exact same car with the upgraded ILS light package and we parked them side by side last night. My factory low beams are brighter/ better than his AND my new RimThin H7 LEDs are FAR brighter, better than his $$$$ "upgraded" ILS high beams! When I shopped for this car, I was disappointed that I could not find one with these 'upgraded' lights, now I am happy I didn't get the ILS system. My Lights look and function amazing now. I will try to come back and update this review if I have any rants or raves about these, lights, but so far, so good, Update: I bought these to use with my Mercedes as mentioned above. The brightness and even lighting of these was very good but- I was occasionally getting a Canbus alert to check the passenger side bulb. I have since learned that any bulb that does not consistently draw 30+ watts will trigger this. So these do not work for me. I have since ordered the "AUXITO H7 LED Bulb 30W 10000LM 6500K Cool White with Cooling Fan". These are about exactly double the price, but they work perfectly- no Canbus alerts!. As for the Rimthin H7 bulbs, it just so happens I have a 100 series Landruiser in my yard with aftermarket 'Depo' light housings that take H7 bulbs for high and low beams. I have installed these for high/low and they are amazing and because the Landcruiser has no Canbus type system, no alerts will ever happen!. I will try to update here again if I have any issues with these in the Landcruiser.

I've done several LED conversions on automobiles and motorcycles before. LEDs tend to be brighter, last longer, draw less power, and create less heat than incandescent bulbs. One family member has a car that just eats headlight bulbs. Incandescents last about 6 months. Two different sets of LED bulbs have given up between the 12 and 18 month mark. My guess is that the headlight housings trap a lot of heat, and this eventually cooks the bulbs to death. This is the 3rd set of LED bulbs that I've installed in that car. The last set shorted out completely, taking a pair of 15 amp fuses with them in the process. I temporarily installed incandescent bulbs that I had laying around until I could order these, which I chose based on reviews and price. The incandescents provided barely adequate light output. They're just not very bright and they make it difficult to see at night or when it is rainy. When these bulbs came in, I installed them and was immediately impressed with the light output. They're not obnoxious (in my opinion), but they sure do make it easier to navigate a dark, winding road. Both of them worked out of the box and they provide a nice, bright headlight beam with a good pattern. How long they will last is anyone's guess, but based on previous experience I'll be buying replacements in about a year and a half. That's still 3X the life of an incandescent bulb in this application, and while I wish they'd last even longer (the LED headlights in my car are 3 years old and still going strong), I guess I'll live with it. I'm knocking a star off because I'm skeptical about the long-term durability of these bulbs. After some miles and time in the car, I'll update my review. For now, I can tell you that they're bright and they fit perfectly. For the $20 that these cost me (less than premium incandescents), that's a win.

I installed this on my 2012 Toyota Corolla. So far everything’s working good! Good fitment just plug and play! High & low beam are great!

These bulbs worked perfectly on my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. Installation was quick and easy, and the brightness is excellent. They fit exactly as described and have been working flawlessly. Highly recommended.

Bought for 2020 Tahoe. They're bright with nice white color, not too much blue which is what I prefer. Four stars because as most LED headlights in this price range they just dont last. Bought in December of 2024 and driver side already started flickering, which is typical of the 2 year life span i usually get. I was considering a pair of LED Sylvanias from AutoZone but those only come with 2 year warranty and they're $80. Too much for me to find out. Buying another pair since they're cheap.

I love these lights! They are extremely bright, looks amazing, and they fit on my car perfectly! Amazing customer service as well!

A promise of a brighter future, of cutting through the darkest backroads with a clean, white, surgical beam of light. You buy into the dream of crisp, long-lasting illumination, a simple, modern upgrade for your trusty machine. I bought the 9005/H11 combo pack. I was a fool. What I received was not an upgrade; it was a box of pure, unadulterated contempt for the consumer. Let me be clear: this is not my first rodeo. I have swapped out dozens of headlight bulbs in my time. It is a simple, delicate dance of twist, pull, and replace. A five-minute job. Or, it should have been. The H11 fog light bulbs went in without a fight, lulling me into a false sense of security. Then came the main event: the 9005 low beams. I lined up the tabs, I pushed gently, I began to twist. And then, a sickening crack. The bulb, this supposed marvel of modern engineering, simply disintegrated in my hand. The heat sink separated from the base, the whole pathetic assembly breaking apart while half of it was still lodged in my headlight housing. It was an act of cheap, plastic self-immolation. An utter failure of basic structural integrity. After a frantic, nerve-wracking session of fishing out the broken pieces with a pair of needle-nose pliers, I managed to get the second bulb installed. The mechanical nightmare was over. Or so I thought. Now came the electrical horror show. I fired up the car. The promise was "flicker-free." The reality was a frantic, strobing disco of failure. All four bulbs—the fogs, the low beams—pulsed with a manic, seizure-inducing flicker. It was not a steady beam of light; it was a taunting, electrical death rattle. A desperate, stuttering plea for help from a set of circuits that were clearly not up to the task. They had one job—to produce light—and they could not even do that with a steady hand. This was not a disappointment; it was a betrayal. A product that failed so completely, so spectacularly, on every conceivable level. The build quality is a joke, leading to a catastrophic failure during a simple installation. The electrical engineering is a lie, producing a flickering nightmare instead of a usable beam. Do not buy these lights. Do not be seduced by the promise of a cheap, easy upgrade. This is not an upgrade. It is a box of problems, a waste of time, and a one-way ticket to frustration and rage. Run away. Run far away. This is a one-star disaster of the highest order.

Bought these bulbs for my daughter’s car. The brightness difference was instant. Pros: Crisp white light; easy install; big visibility boost. Cons: None Verdict: Bright, clean lighting that improves nighttime driving.
