Good cooler, good energy consumption management through the app.
It works, and cools fast, also very good on my 100ah bettery, could last a whole week at 1degree C or 33F. Priced ok, but found out that vevor is selling this same model at a lower price. I wish we could have more adverstismenet to justify the price difference vs competitors. Nonetheless, good fridge-freezer. Seems of good quality

DON'T BUY! No response from Customer service
Update October 1, 2023: If I could give this fridge zero stars, I would. I haven't been able to successfully reach customer service so as far as I'm concerned, I don't recommend this fridge at all! Update 09/18/2023: Lousy customer service!!! Without a latch, the lid is getting loose and wobbly. I still haven't heard anything from Customer Service. I'm giving this fridge one star because of the bad response and customer service. For the cooling capability, I give it four stars. I CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS FRIDGE!! Update: September 4, 2023 I haven't heard anything from Customer Service re: the broken latch on my fridge. I'm very disappointed because I had read that they were responsive. Maybe they're swamped. I can understand that, but it doesn't make me like my fridge as much, so I'm taking off another star from my rating. I live in a van full-time and my fridge finally died. I'd researched a lot of fridges and the Alpicool 45 had good reviews and was in my budget, so I bought one. I've been using it since May and it has been great in the hot summer. Mostly quiet when running although it can be quite loud when it starts up. The day before yesterday I saw that the latch on the door was broken. I tried to fix it, but it kept coming apart, as you can see in the photo. I just contacted Customer support, so we'll see how that goes. I hope they will help because I really like my fridge. I'll update my review when I hear anything. Update: Still haven't received any help for my fridge. It still keeps things cold, but I need to be able to be sure my food doesn't spoil. I'm giving two stars only because I like the fridge. Customer Service: No stars!!! ๐

It actually does get the temperature below zero...
The first thing about this model is that it is likely OEM-ed by others. However, the firmware in the Alpicool has a few features that others of this model don't have. One of them is confirming on the display that someone wants to pair with Bluetooth. This is important, so someone can't just lock the control panel as a prank on you, or adjust settings which might damage the fridge. The good about it. It does what it says. I have a number of freezer packs which will not freeze unless the temperature is well under freezing, around 0 degrees Fahrenheit. All of them were solid in a few hours, which is pretty astonishing. The small fridge compartment is good enough to keep some bags of shredded cheese above freezing, but refrigerated. It cools and cools quickly, and keeps things going. The app is decent, and has all main stuff at a glance, where turning on and off Eco mode is easy. My only worry, as I mentioned above is someone ninja-pairing their phone, locking the display, or the display is locked and a phone is lost or factory reset. Hopefully there is a way to reset the fridge if locked via the Bluetooth app. The basket makes it easy to get food in and out. It can get heavy, but it is nice being able to pull the entire contents out. The fridge works well, and you can tell it is working because a hand by the vent (left if facing the plug, right if facing the control panel) will have warm air. You can also hear the refrigerant quietly gurgle, which is a good sign. Overall, decently quiet. The fridge has a three level selection of battery saver. I've yet to test it, because I always use it with a power bank, as a power bank can tend to run the fridge for longer than just a car battery. Because it only connects to a power bank, I set that to "low", just in case a power bank doesn't have a regulated 12 volt port. If one adds an optional cover (make sure it fits this model, or a comparable brand), it adds a good amount of insulation, allowing the compressor to rest longer, and thus save on battery power. Eco mode works well, and is something I like using on a cool night. In the daytime, I turn it back to Max, especially if I have a generator and/or solar on, just for better cooling. What would be nice is the ability to set this setting either on time of day, or perhaps at ambient temperature outside. The bad: The latch is something that seems fragile. I try to gently close and open it, because if that breaks, there is no way to securely shut it. I have another, no name, fridge which has lasted since 2019, with constant openings/closings, zero issues. It would be nice if the parts that made up the latch were stainless steel or even brass just so it isn't a worry. Bonus points if ball bearings are used. The area you plug the cord into does not seem reinforced. I fear that I might break the case by pressing the cord in. So, I'd probably just not risk things, plug the 12 volt cord in, and use that, either to the battery bank, or via a 120 VAC to 12 VAC rectifier that can do at least 60 watts (I prefer 120 just for headroom as the compressor starting up has a big inrush current.) This way, the cable can stay put, but one can plug it into wherever one chooses. The door opening up long-ways can be a drag. However, one can position it so that isn't too bad an item. The vents should have proper airflow, and mind air direction. If either of the compressor vents winds up blocked, it may cause the compressor to shut down. The ugly: This fridge seems to be OEM-ed by a few companies, be it Alpicool, Euhomy, Roxx, and others. It has the same control panel, but the Bluetooth app belongs to the fridge company. There are directions around to do low level programming on the E1-E8 items, if need be... but in general, if there isn't a need to adjust them, other than the one that swaps between Celsius and Fahrenheit, I'd not bother with them. Overall, it keeps my frozen stuff safely under 0ยบ (F), so I'm happy, and it does the job well.

Bulletproof!
Bought my first on years ago for Overlanding with my Jeep. It's over 5 years old and has been bashed around fallen over and over, broke the lid from the gooseneck, sat in the back of the truck in rain and weather and is still going strong. Have 2 now and use them on the sailboat 1 for a fridge and 1 for a freezer. Love them!

Good size (45 Liter). Efficient. Convenient.
45 Liter version ran over 7 days at the campsite on a 300 amp hr LiFePO4 battery. At 80F plus ambient and at a setting of 37F I calculate it will last at least 10 days on the battery (not letting the battery go below 20 percent capacity). It is nice to not have to fiddle with ice and worry about food getting wet when on a long camping trip. For day trips I run it off the 12 Volt outlet in the car and when 50% powered and 50% unpowered the temp stayed below 40F in a warm car, recovering to 35F (plus or minus 3 degrees) quickly. NOTE, as shown in the ad, the large area is "refrigerator / freezer" and the small cavity is shown as just "refrigerator." After using this unit for months (continuously on a nearly 4 week hiking and cycling trip) I noticed that the smaller cavity is not as cool/cold as the large area. In a three day test at home, with containers of water in each area as mass to stabilize the temperature, the water in the smaller area is 5 to 8 degrees warmer than the water in the larger area. Be aware that items such as yogurt or salad dressing may not last in the small area if the temperature setting is at 37F. In the future I will be setting the temperature at 33-34F and only storing items that are acceptable at 40-45F, for example lettuce, tomatoes, energy drinks, etc., in the smaller area.
