I loved how easy they made it to install the screen protector. I always hated trying to make sure it was on straight by eye but they took out all the guess work! I've dropped this phone a bunch already and the screen protector hasn't failed me!

I've been relying on this brand to protect my phone screens for at last 6 years now. Tried and true, so I purchased it again for a new Pixel 8. It was easy to apply and leaves just enough room for the sides of a case. I'm a tad disappointed that it didn't seal all the way to the edge on most of the way around. I'm sure dust will collect under the edges of the slight gap. The photo shows it immediately after application, and the lights parts around the edges are where it isn't snug to the screen.

Product doesn't stick onto screen properly. The pack came with 3 and within less than a week, I'm left with none besides the camera protector. The 1st two didn't even last 1 hour . The first one broke immediately when I lifted it up slightly to make an adjustment, as it didn't adhere properly on the right side. Onto the second one. It was even worse as all the sides this time weren't sticking probably and the protector kept coming up. 3rd time's the charm, kinda... AGAIN THE ISSUE WITH THE SIDES NOT STICKING PROPERLY!!! WTF!!! This time around it wasn't terrible but AGAIN RIGHT SIDE WONT ADHERE PROPERLY although not as bad as the 1st one, eventually after a few days, dirt and dust kept getting stuck underneath leading to a dirty screen and the protector starting to lift up, so I took it off. All 3 gone within a week.... Even with following the instructions carefully I still never got it to stick right..I did notice, that the installation guide is a hair too small, making it hard to lay the protector flat as it runs against the side of the guide causing it to go on sideways first. Which would explain why the right side WOULD NOT ADHERE AT ALL. Making the guide just a bit wider might make things easier. But overall I do not recommend this product. The corner cracked immediately when I tried to lift it slightly to adjust it, which tells me the product is weak. The installation guide does not fit properly leading to edges not adhering. I tried to claim a warranty they advertise but am met with an unable to process your request at this time error message... So now I'm left with no screen protectors and an unprotected phone, in less than a week of receiving this product... I recommend zagg screen protector, as the installation is one of the best and it actually sticks to the sides. This product -1/10

Tried a different brand before this and the edges didn't adhere. It was hard to find a Pixel 8 screen protector with consistently good reviews. Gave this one a shot and I'm glad I did. It fits the phone and adheres correctly. The installation frame made it easy. The fingerprint reader works fine with it. A great value for all that you get.

Pixel 8 is one of the toughest screen protector to install on my experience after owning so many pixel series. The issue is the display screen has no gap before it starts the 2.5D curve. I lost one screen protector learning how to get it right. The technique is one you got it installed, you have to push the air bubbles out of the screen out the edges. Then whatever left on any edges and sides that has bubbles. You then either press and shove down or into the middle off the screen. Yes you read this right, you have to push the bubble into the middle of the screen. This is to not stretch the glass to the 2.5D edge. Good luck.

They're good, easy to install but not bubble free, just follow the instructions and make sure to clean the screen well before applying the protector They leave a lip so this makes them case compatible

Initially, I had the impression that the Pixel had a completely flat screen. However, upon purchasing the device, I noticed that it actually has a very slight curve. This is the updated version of the tempered glass, and based on other reviews, it is considered to be the best option available, so I decided to purchase it. The application process was straightforward and quick, taking only a few seconds after cleaning the screen. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the tempered glass would lift from the screen. Fortunately, I discovered a simple solution to this problem. By applying a small amount of cooking oil to the edges of the tempered glass using a cotton tip applicator, I was able to effectively resolve the lifting issue. I learned this technique while I was still in the Philippines, where some of the tempered glass products sold by Chinese vendors included a packet of vegetable oil for this purpose. This method works effectively and does not cause any damage to the device as evidenced by a device I used for 6 years.

Finally, there is a screen protector for the Pixel 8 that actually fits properly and adheres around the edges! After searching on Amazon for weeks and reading poor reviews for screen protectors I was getting worried that these manufacturers gave up on supporting and making a correct tempered glass screen protector for the Pixel 8. I've tried another brand previously and had the disappointing halo effect. I then stumbled onto this product and noticed that they included the words "Upgraded Version" and checked the "Date First Available" date of October 21, 2023. I was skeptical, but this timeline made sense that it was a revised screen protector as the Pixel 8 released October 12, 2023 and the initial release of screen protectors from amFilm for the standard Pixel 8 had poor reviews on reddit, which dated before the First Available date. I'm pleased and relieved to find out this screen protector fits without any bubbles or issues with the edges not adhering. Fingerprint reader works well (I didn't have to redo the fingerprints). The plastic frame guide is clearly marked with "Top" so you know the correct placement. It comes with some wet wipes and stickers to remove the lingering dust. The only item I wish they included was a squeegee as it really helps to push out the small bubbles (but I had one from a previous screen protector kit, so not a big deal).

Bought this one because apparently it was a revised version. Sadly I still have the halo. The rear camera protector was cracked on delivery as well but I'm not marking down for that. Would also love to see a hole punch for front camera but that might be a durability issue.
