I don't read Japanese but it chops well!
Purchased this for the wife as our daughter had one and liked it. Fortunately the wife learned how to use it at the daughter's house as the box it came in and the included instructions were all in Japanese. And, the box was sealed with what appeared to be blue painters tape so I initially thought it might be a return but everything looked new.

Great for fine chopping, protects my sensitive eyes! Need to cut food so blades can do move around

Great little gadget
Chops garlic, pickles, onions, etc. quickly with just a few pulls of the cord. Will even chop whole coffee beans in a pinch (had to use it during a power outing). Easier and quicker to clean than a food processor.
